 What's on your mind?
Did I tell you I really hate Hacienda? (Our local version of IRS...) In the next few 32 hours I should fill in and submit just another tax declaration... ON A MONTHLY BASIS! And it's not even business related!!

By the way, I have only not thoroughly tested some RM2K3 games on my phone to verify whether or not some easy RPG app worked as expected. One of the games failed to show some unknown animation on the map.

My dad is getting... He decided he wanted to sleep in another room... all the way on the top floor. Many things to watch out for. Chances of getting hurt have risen drastically. If he received no help to get to the room, I know he would have crawled up the stairs anyway.

I have to sign off early tonight.

I really hope they get that medical help for him sorted soon =/

Medical help can only go but so far, especially with a patient that refuses medical care and claims that he can do whatever he wants.

The hospice scenario is up and running, but with each option and suggestion they offer, he makes changes. The medicine prescribed, he now spits out. The Food they suggest, he refuses to eat. And I just mentioned the bed. In fact, where he chose to now sleep will give hospice treatment, the nurses and assistants in their caring and management, even more problems.

He now he only wishes to drink water and eat ice cream in difference to anything else. No soft bits of chicken, no soup of any sort, no applesauce or anything. Just water and ice cream, all regardless of how his stomach feels.

He's peacefully asleep right now, but I have no idea for how long.

Moaning in pain. Refused help. Complained saying needs to go to the hospital. A Hospice nurse was dispatched.

IT WAS GAS.

Sharing here should be forbidden, 'cause is kinda addictive.
Since last week things happened. I received a call from a childhood "friend" (let's say that) and after so much about our lives she recommended me to apply my CV to a huge company, almost 2 hours of distance from here.
I was really afraid of going there, but I put myself up and went to face this challenge.
When I got there, for my surprise, I discovered my "friend" worked there as well. She told me she worked nearby. I haven't see her for 7 years or so. She winked at me and walked away (she couldn't talk at the workplace). I was kinda nervous 'cause I didn't know if WE could work together.
Fast forward to the said job interview, there were two vacancies, with only three candidates. I was the oldest and most experienced of them, the other guys were really young. We all did well in the interview and I got to show my skills and ability to speak english AND show my portfolio even tho the vancancy was suppose to work on a PC whole day just helping with adm and stuff, the interviewer wanted to know. She said we all would know the results by monday. I made friends with them and they were as insecure as me so that was nice haha
Today I got an e-mail saying I was not required for the function, but they would save my CV for another occasion. One of the guys called me and told the same thing. I am kinda disappointed 'cause I owe a lot of money to bank for years now and... well it's been hard to take care of my grandma. I was talking this sunday with my aunt about try to pay the nurse to take care of her everyday since for now she just came by and help me twice a week. Also, it's been a while my life is kinda stuck and I didn't get to study in a nice university like some of my friends so... that's a shame. Still the guy living with the parents.
Well, looks like the search continues. I won't get too sad, but yeah, it's not over until we say it's over. But I really wanted this opportunity. Even if was kinda far and out of my scope. It would help a lot...

This is gonna be another short night for me.

Dad was okay this morning. That is until 15 minutes after the Hospice nurse 'left'. Yeah,

Did okay later.... until just now.

Oh, what's on my mind today...?

How about...

1 - There's a PS3 emulator that apparently works "well" right now. The core demands are fairly high, and there are a ton of errors unless you use Vulkan.
I wanted to test it out, so I downloaded the emulator. However, I quickly found out that my laptop can't use Vulkan! The OpenGL and DirectX cores for it have a ton of errors, and they've solely been working with Vulkan for the full speed. So that... was a no-go. ALSO, there's the fact that I sold my only PS3 game, so I wouldn't have been able to use it anyway.  Tongue sticking out

But I'm glad to know that there's something out there that's working at reasonable speeds. People have called for Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5 HD ReMix to be released onto the PC, and this was one way people have been enjoying it-- and apparently, people with strong PCs are upscaling it so the HD looks even nicer. Must be nice to have those capabilities.  Laughing

I just hope people are doing it legally. There are a lot of shady sites that people are getting things from, and it's scary how open people are about getting things from there.  Confused

2 - Not to be political, but it seems like a lot of presidential candidates seem to have taken a liking to rampaging on stage back and forth yelling into microphones and waving their arms around instead of standing behind a podium. The cameras have to chase them back and forth, back and forth... it must be exhausting to be a cameraman now  Laughing
Speaking of cameramen, A lot of good cameras are REALLY heavy. I've seen wrestlers run into cameramen, and people don't really talk about it, but those cameramen are oftentimes injured severely and are recovering for a long time. Must be a rough job, trying to get those good shots and ending up taking a shot instead. Confused

Oh, ALSO also, WWE is known for its "Shaky cam" at times. It's a Kevin Dunn thing. Kevin Dunn is a WWE TV Producer, and people HATE him because his decisions make the show nigh unwatchable with the amount of shaky cam and camera cuts there are. But tying this in with cameramen... he's had cameramen LITERALLY DO SQUATS TO DO SHAKY CAM.

A WWE Cameraman should be paid a lot. If they're not, they need to unionize fast, because that's insanity.  Laughing Laughing Laughing

I'm on early because I don't know if I'm going to be on later tonight. Chances are slim.

Last night was bad, having to change my dad's sheets six times, once only half an hour after the last and he refused to get out of bed or anything to allow me to change it for hours.

He wants to go home, but he is home.... a home for 50+ years.

And he's gone through intense pain from leg muscle cramps, a possible charlie horse according to a nurse. This necessitated morphine as a temporary measure. Morphine of this does lasts only 3 hours, but it took nearly an hour for it to register with him.... it's not doing well at all.

The PC I'm using went BSOD, Windows 10 Style, earlier. It's now reset, as I got the Go Ahead from my dad. Now I'm just playing the reinstalling game. Though I'm putting less stress with Steam for games that I can play, including any game I have bought a digital copy of, elsewhere other than Steam, including physical copies. I still would have to rely on Steam for most things. Right now, I'm gonna have to let this PC pull all-nighters for about 3-6 nights.
