Ya know, when I visit one Twitch streamer (kinda cute), she comically talks about BOOMERS she's encountered. Heck, she sometimes mentions that she's a boomer despite being 20 years my junior.  I guess its easy to even bring up Boomers as being an older generation. But I looked it up, and I wish her luck...

I'd like to thank members of my family for pushing me over the edge with it. I won't name them for privacy reasons, but they've had a big impact. I love them all and god bless.

And I've accomplished one of my biggest goals in life: to become a boring water / tea drinker. You can laugh all you want, I'm just not interested in an unhealthy lifestyle and am glad that, even after almost 40 years later, I still look and feel like I am 20.

That sounds like a good decision. Keep up the good work, even if you ever get tested.

I had to go visit that terrible place.  Again. I spent quite some time running errands there. I wish such places didn't exist but people kind of need them. I long for the days when that place won't be needed ever again.

By the way, the official forum went down for a while several hours ago. I haven't been able to find any thread concerning that strange event there. Only learned about a mod finding it weird and that was it.
Did they fix something?
Did they forget to pay their bills?  
Did they get hit by some nasty hacker?  
 Who knows?

Since somebody mentioned the so called impending doom of gaming somewhere else, several thoughts crossed my mind.

For instance, there's a SEGA emulator on Steam so you can get some of their games there. Usually very cheap. (The emulator uses like 1 GB of space.) The quality of games varies a lot from game to game. And I think you could still find that infamous "All your base are belong to us" game there.

What about classics that are actually terrible by nature?

At least among TV series I'd say that Transformers G1 really sucks. Even so I suspect there are lots of Transformers fans that might love it.

If talking about games only, I'd mention Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. Don't ask questions here.

Classics that I played... FF series for sure, got 4 of them on Steam. I couldn't find Legend of Mana there.

Normally, you'd get in trouble trying to run a classic videogame like Lords of the Realm 2 on any Windows version released after XP. It'd require a DOS emulator that might work... or simply not. Then you need to apply the patches or the Siege Expansion and use the appropiate binary executable...

I just got the digital copy from GOG and installed it on Linux. Since I had already installed Wine emulator 8.0, it simply run right away with no extra steps needed!

I don't think that the CD version of the game has ever been that easy to get up and running smoothly on any platform.

Also playing Ara Fell. It runs fine on Linux. My version doesn't include any separate soundtrack pack.
Plus, Lita is a crybaby  for sure.

I'm right in the middle of a gaming crisis.
There are games on sale but also tilesets and music packs with important discounts as well. 
I can't buy all of them at the same time. 
Please remember that I've bought other games and packs almost a week ago.
