Tom Sizemore Dead: Acclaimed Actor Dies At 61 After Brain Aneurysm

After being hospitalized in intensive care after suffering a brain aneurysm, Tom Sizemore, known for his roles in Saving Private Ryan, Pearl Harbor, and Black Hawk Down, has died at age 61. He passed on Friday, March 3, in a Los Angeles hospital. His rep Charles Lago released a statement, per TMZ. “It is with great sadness and sorrow I have to announce that actor Thomas Edward Sizemore (“Tom Sizemore”) aged 61 passed away peacefully in his sleep today at St Joseph’s Hospital Burbank. His Brother Paul and twin boys Jayden and Jagger (17) were at his side.”

It was reported in the evening hours of Monday, February 27, that the family was “deciding end of life matters” after the February 18 medical event. Charles previously told Variety in a statement that, “doctors informed his family that there is no further hope and have recommended end of life decision. The family is now deciding end of life matters and a further statement will be issued on Wednesday.”

So if you have been expecting to see some activity on his Twitter account, well, let's just say you'll be waiting for ever and ever.

And for those that ever played The Last of Us videogame, I guess you already knew that one of its voice actresses passed away back in January.

Annie Wersching, an actress best known for her work in 24, Bosch, Runaways and voicing the character Tess in the video game The Last of Us, died Jan. 29 at the age of 45 following a battle with cancer. Born and raised in St. Louis on Mar. 28, 1977, Wersching started her acting career in 2002 with a guest appearance on Star Trek: Enterprise, and continued racking up credits on Frasier, Angel, Charmed, Boston Legal, and Supernatural. In 2009, she was cast as FBI special agent Renee Walker on the seventh season of 24 and in 2013, Wersching voiced the character Tess in the video game The Last of Us, who is played by Anna Torv in HBO's adaptation. Wersching's other notable credits include Julia Brasher on Bosch, Emma Whitmore on Timeless, Leslie Dean on Runaways, and the Borg Queen on Stark Trek: Picard.

By the way, on February the 25th, the Japanese voice actor Mitsuo Senda left this world as well. He died of heart failure at age 82.

He worked in anime like Yu Yu Hakusho as the ice demon Seiryu, who gets quickly defeated by Hiei.
Later on he appeared on Naruto as Shinayakana, the guy that kept spending his money like crazy because he thought it could solve all of his problems.
Then in Naruto Shippuuden he reappeared as Gamamaru the old toad.
