For Amanda Méndez it's not fun to see how her father got interned at a public hospital AFTER they had to pay for a test at a private lab. Even the Red Cross made them waste 4 valuable hours before admitting they couldn't transport him
because they lacked the proper equipment, the special pod they use in this cases. Thus she had to call a private ambulance to take him to San Juan de Dios hospital in San José, Costa Rica.
It gets worse, her mother has cancer and she's probably contracted the coronavirus as well.
