I already see that damn storm coming. And you already got hit by it. What's with these past two months?

Over a dozen lost their lives, there are missing people as well, bridges that said farewell, houses that were eaten by hungry landslides, river swells abound, machines and furniture got damaged, a truck driver was trapped in his truck for about 9 hours before he was rescue on the third attempt... Oh, some mother was, err, smashed by a fallen tree while she was in bed at night...

Even my sister was surprised that a mock of a twister made some tiles fall down right in front of her house, her fences were blown away... Plus some other details I won't mentioned here for obvious reasons.

Some people caught the moment were a calf was fighting for survival while his comrades could just stare at him... few moments later the current took him away...

I heard that the toll was up to 22 dead as of yesterday. And it's not long before it hits my cousin Janey's place in Louisiana.

There were upto 7000 people displaced by this storm and its consequences... Some houses were partially damaged, you can see rifts crossing their kitchens or living rooms as if they were vicious snakes waiting for a chance to strike... And there are cases where stupid people try to cross a flooded bridge or road, even one eaten up by landslides, one of these "intrepid adventurers" thought some sort of bike was good enough to cross a newly created river only to find out he got stuck right in the middle. Not long after a 'flash flood' drove him away from the cameras... Later on police found him laying on the muddy soil lifeless...

and while you're at it keep the prayer channels up and going for all my family over there in New Orleans, Slidell, and all over Jefferson Parrish.

Wondering if it's a good idea to write stuff while trying not to fall asleep... but I shouldn't miss today's soccer match... Arrrgg, I hate live broadcasts! DVD's and online TV now look quite enticing, but creativity should never be sacrificed... or should I make an exception?

I dunno what to do next...

People around me are celebrating not a win but a draw 0.0 because the national soccer team has classified to FIFA's World Championship Russia 2018...

I updated my recently posted story titled Spell Troubleshooting and even started translating it in Spanish under a different title, namely Reparando Conjuros. Some point might find it weird anyway, and I don't know whether or not Siletrea might like it since she inspired a character there who is nameless so far. Sadly, the main and very careful hero can be a jerk every so often...

6:30 am... I slipped into the kitchen and suddenly I can hear rain pouring down but there was no rain! I go out and take a look at the street and I end up finding either a miracle or another proof of how public institutions are the lamest you can ever find out there. Water was coming out of the street itself! Only asphalt is supposed to be there plus some large tube several feet under... I called the water services company to report the issue, and they could only tell me they had no request ID for me nor tell me when the stupid guys would finally show up to do repairs!

Damn Nate! I can only blame Nate for this!

Yesterday, my cat was laying in the cat litter box. It kind of had me worried. I get in there to get her out. However, she got out of the litter box herself as I approached her.
