Bill Gates: AI Can Help Solve ‘Digital Misinformation’ Problem

Microsoft founder and billionaire Bill Gates said AI should be considered as a tool to combat “digital misinformation” and “political polarization” in an interview published on Thursday with Handelsblatt, a German news media outlet.

In response to a question about the spreading of “misinformation” via AI, Gates referred to the events of January 6, 2021, as an “attack on the Capitol. He said:

I’m certainly concerned about political polarization, and I know the U.S. situation best of all. I wouldn’t have expected people to attack the Capitol, or people to deny the validity of election results. I‘m in a state of shock about that.

We can’t blame AI for that. That happened. It may have been magnified by digital channels that allow various conspiracy theories like QAnon or whatever to be blasted out by people who wanted to believe those things. So, the digital tools may have played an auxiliary role. 

Gates added, “You’ll have to take AI into consideration” to “solve the digital misinformation [problem].” He described “political polarization” as another social ill that could be partially remedied via the use of AI to reduce “confirmation bias.”

“It’s not optional to have a solution for climate,” he held, adding that carbon dioxide emissions must be brought “to zero” via “clean energy” and “green energy” substitutes.

Development of reliable and affordable energy is in harmony with governmental pursuits of eliminating fossil fuels and development of “green infrastructure,” Gates claimed.

“It’s now seen that in the 10- to 20-year-time frame that the goals of climate and the goals of energy security align, he stated, “to say that investment in green infrastructure is even more of a priority than it was before the war.”

Artificial Intelligence Is Helping Make Peace With Israel

Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is using advanced artificial intelligence to promote peace with Arabs and nations around the world.

For the first time Israel is using Deep-Learning AI to create greetings of peace and invite people from countries around the world to dialogue with the Jewish state. The technology enables diplomats to speak in several foreign languages. It even animates their lips to seem like they are speaking with complete ease in the desired foreign tongue.

The Digital Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has published a series of videos produced with AI technology in the following languages: Arabic, Persian, Chinese, Turkish, Greek, Hindi, Russian and Portuguese.

The videos show the head of the ministry’s digital division, David Saranga welcoming people to get to know Israelis and live in peace with the Jewish nation. The deep learning algorithms make it possible to change lip and body movements in the videos to appear as though they are native speakers. Even the faces of the people being photographed can be changed.

They're guys that can't deal with an accurate depiction of what happened on January 6th and how the FBI and the DOJ got involved in a conspiracy to make Trump and a group of Americans look like domestic terrorists. They keep repeating the same lies even after ridiculous claims have been debunked long time ago, like the threat against AOC's life that allegedly took place in a section of the building that she never entered on that day.

You gotta understand the way their mind actually work. The golden rule here is that whenever they say something, you gotta interpret it the opposite way.

If they claim they care about freedom, they are already thinking on ways to oppress you (even more).
Whenever they tell you they respect your rights, they are breaking them on a daily basis!

Let's just look at all those gun bans that Biden and state governors have been trying to implement in the last couple of years. They claim that they will protect you from those evil weapons. Yet, the bills only take care of legal gun owners, not criminals. What they want is to disarm the average joe, making you more dependent on the police. The problem is that they're also trying to defund the  police! And you'll wind up being  hurt or killed.

Their true intention is to prevent you from learning what they are actually doing to impoverish you or feel more insecure than ever before. The very same World Economic Forum mantra was "You'll own nothing and you'll like it."

Why on earth should you renounce your rights like the right to own properties?
Why can't you buy something and keep it for the rest of your lives and even let your descendants inherit it?

The State didn't buy it for you, it has no legal obligation nor right to take it away from you. As long as you don't let debts asfixiate you, there's no reason why anybody should steal what's actually yours.

Especially in countries like the US, you are encouraged to make a living based on your own merits, your own efforts. They're now trying to take your dignity as a human being away from you!

Why do I say that? Well, it's quite easy. They don't want you to get a good job that makes you work for over 36 hours a week. You can re-read what Gates has said above, they want you to work less (and less) than ever before.

If you protest against their cynical measures, they'll quickly call you a threat to domestic security. In the US that means you could lose several of your rights based on laws like the RICO act.

In regard to the use of AI in an unusual field like diplomacy, I can only say that they're simply letting people accept the use of deep fakes as something normal. Extremely dangerous indeed.
