They said that I could keep the phone number that I've had for years during my change over from AT&T as said company was leaving Maryland altogether.

... Hey, it's been a couple of months since I had AT&T for my phone service. So what do I get now? A phone bill from AT&T for two months! Really???

I mean, they sent a freakin hella large bill. Verison couldn't even grant me my years-running phone number until AT&% gave it up, claiming ownership. I had to call and point out that they no longer owned the phone number, the dates and all.

Oh, and I said over the phone "Oh, and you're being recorded for quality control." Yep, audacity and a microphone for the win....

Now they owe ME money, and are sending me a check for money paid that they now discovered I didn't owe in my last 'payment' to them.
