Well anyway, in a different topic, looks like Belgium is asking some game devs to remove their Lootboxes.

They've classified lootboxes as gambling, let alone introducing children into gambling.  In a number of cases, you're actually spending real money to get virtual items.  And it found that three popular games – Overwatch, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Fifa 18 – were in violation of gambling legislation.  EA and Blizzard aren't talking, but Valve is opening up a dialog with Belgium on this issue. 


In this case, Belgium is spot on.  DLC is one thing, but loot boxes?  You're spending money for a chance to get what you want in a roulette-wheel styled system.  TOTALLY unrelated to Gem Roulette that kicks A$$  Unfortunately, you usually don't get what you're trying for, and it is introducing gambling to minors who often play these games.
