It's this state of this world when the only way you can appreciate someone is giving them a present, on every instance of the occasion.
That is why I don't celebrate birthdays and Christmas anymore; It is too difficult to just THINK of what I want that I don't want to go through the hassle. I don't want to be given presents. I don't want to give presents.

Yesterday, while getting some paperwork for the office manager, I discovered a Subpoena for a Grand Jury in MY NAME stashed and hidden away! The sucker was dated on my day off last week, and exactly when an employee called me up asking me to get some paperwork for her. This paperwork being signed receipts of a customer who apparently sold us stolen property.... we're clear... he's not. Not only was this very IMPORTANT document not privy to me, not only did I discover she had the time to get the paperwork herself (no excuse), but ... the freakin court date was for my birthday? If I didn't settle this, I was going to be in contempt of court!
But there was a contingency.... If I was able to get a hold of the detective and deliver the paperwork in question, I would not need to go. After nearly an hour, I was able to reach a detective who came with an affidavit for me to sign in place of having to show in court!!! Damn right I signed it, copied it for the store, and got the Detective's name and badge as he gave me a brochure in his handwriting. Oh, man.... what a relief!!! Great glob, Dervy-kun! That sounds crazy!
 On my mind right now is that I saved over 300 music files somehow, and I don't even know what half of them are... one-by-one listening is my only solution to figure this out!  I also found out that a song on my Dream Theater album that's on my iPod wasn't by Dream Theater at all. It was by a band called Superior.
