Hello guys. I have been away for a while. Did everyone behave while I was absent?
I moved from Rome Italy to Darlington UK. I have been here for two weeks now, but I got my broadband connection only a couple of days ago.
The accent is killing me. Apparently here in the North-East you get something quite different than the English spoken by Londoners and/or taught in English courses, so I am recovering from a week of embarassment for not understanding a word from some of those mumbl... ahem... speakers.
The house is old and stinks, the people living here were pigs, but it's the best I could get. Uhm, what else... people are fat.
