		Yeah, it is really a pain in the butt sometimes.
Living in the US, I don't technically need it, especially since I don't get sick very often either,but my school requires me to.
They offer their own insurance for a hefty premium if you don't have your own.
I imagine that the German government makes it mandatory because even if you don't get sick, having no insurance makes you quite the liability.
