 What's up, RMers?
My power went out while I had a couple things open, but I don't think it was a big loss. I animated a silhouette of a scorpion, hopefully I'll be able to flesh this thing out soon! Also been working on a desert battle back, grassy mountains and hills and some other stuff :D

*SNAG!* Grabbed it. Happy

I worked so dilligently on all the graphics for my visual faceset system but totally forgot to make eyes, noses, eyebrows and... HAIR... for my visual portraits system. You'll be able to see a full body shot of the character in the equipment menu changing gear as you equip and/or unequip 'em.

After seeing the Victor Engine Battle on map script video I thought "woah hold on, is that Ace's RTP music"? Downloaded it, listening to it now, notice it's OGGs with LOOPSTART variables for, well... looping.

Someone needs to make a script for XP that allows VX/VXAce's LOOPSTART and LOOPLENGTH variables in OGGs. * ^*

Ah good ol' VX Ace trial, I was surprised when I found out I still have 8 days left of it, I thought it'd be expired by now! I don't have much interest in this program and probably won't buy it, but I've been wanting to script something with it, so I'll take a simple script request or two if anybody bothers to ask. Oh yeah, I should get around to taking a screenshot of the map I've made with the RTP, its... well, I think its cool, I'll try to remember to post it tomorrow.

Not to say that VX Ace a bad program, but I doubt I'll end up buying it, and if I did I probably wouldn't use it for much other than a quick reference. There are a ton of things they did right, but XP mapping is sexier, and maybe its just because I'm so familiar with the die hard classic.

Speaking of world map, made new mountains. I've already got 5 or 6 sets of 64x64 mountains, but I'm starting my 'autotiled' ones over, then its onto terrain-mixed sets, grey and blues, etc. This is basically the format I'm going to use to bypass XP's autotile limit.

Darkness and Despair

Did I ever link this before? I was trying to simply make a 'Mystery' ME, but I liked the sound of this so much I just looped it into a simple track and turned it into a BGM. I could add more variation to it or whatever, but I think I'm just going to leave it as is. I've probably got about 30 hours of writing done listening to this track.

You know there is one thing i've been wondering since there is a program that can convert XP graphics to VX but yet there is not program that does the reverse considering it be nice considering i like to see how VX tilesets would work in an XP enviroment. Though i am still working on my XP game project but also have a project for ace based off a very old idea that i used to draw back in the early 90's.

(Though why is there a scorpion above my head.....)

@XP Kobold: You know, there used to be a tool for that. Unfortunately I don't think it's still there so such edits would have to be done by hand.

Also, has anyone heared of an RPG Maker Artist who goes by the name of "DGMaker"? I have come across some artwork that is credited to be made by him/her and absolutely stunning. And there is quite a lot, I have not had time to look at all yet. But considering there really is a huge (and I mean that) number of recources of really high quality I began to wonder if it, just maybe, in fact is not artwork by this person but graphics ripped from an (to me) unknown game. (Or games.) Also, I have asked a few people but no one seems to be familiar with the name and considering the quality of recources I find that somewhat unlikely. Hence my question.
I would love to use some of the art, but not under the risk of unknowingly using commercial recources.

Please don't spell my name "Yamina-chan". It's all small. Thank you =D

Oh my god those are beautiful. I feel like I have actually heard of the name and seen that monster before, but I can't say where...
