Besides the destruction from the rain and wind damage caused by the Category 4 storm that swept Florida, an new danger and form of destruction never met before. A number of electric vehicles submerged within flood waters have since burst into flames.

There’s a ton of EVs disabled from Ian. As those batteries corrode, fires start. That’s a new challenge that our firefighters haven’t faced before. At least on this kind of scale.

TO FINE USERS $2500 FOR 'MISINFORMATION!'

Criticism erupting on social media forced them to change their mind!

The Daily Wire broke the news that Paypal was going to penalize users who promoted misinformation or 'present a risk to user safety or wellbeing.' It was set to go into effect November 3rd. But since then, Paypal released the following statement.

PayPal is not fining people for misinformation and this language was never intended to be inserted in our policy.

At least two of the company's former leaders, including founder Elon Musk, took the proposed penalties suggested very seriously and pushed back on Twitter.

It’s hard for me to openly criticize a company I used to love and gave so much to. PayPal ’s new AUP goes against everything I believe in. A private company now gets to decide to take your money if you say something they disagree with. Insanity.
