Whenever I get stressed out because of work I get an urge to play around with RPG Maker. Because my brain's solution to work is more work, it seems.

The sudden realization that the creator of The Lycan ABS totally forgot to include his name in his demo's opening credits.

This was just what I needed to see after a stressful night of job applications: the boss man messin' up hilariously. Lol.



Also, I'm reflecting on the oddity of how my friends are using me as a "Date Doctor" a few months after my own love life fizzles out...

OH! Monster Hunter!

So I've been getting better at the game (Monster Hunter Freedom Unite), and I finally took out a Yian Garuga without taking a single hit!
Unfortunately, Kushala Daora, an Elder Dragon, broke me in half after I thought I was on such a winning streak. Oh well!



I got my revenge against Kushala Daora four times in a row, though, so don't you worry!

I like watching Let's Plays or Livestreams by a certain collection of people.
One of these persons is Jsano19 - otherwise known as Jeff. A very nice guy, with a good sense of humor and quite chilled about most things.
While he does both those things, he earns his living as a nurse. He also works as a firefigther.
A few days ago, he was livestreaming from the firestation while he had some time.



It's good to know, that there are such brave and nice people out there. - And knowing about sometihng and witnessing it secondhand, is quite diffrent.

Also: Why is the English dub track of Xenoblade Chronicles soooooooo much better than the Japanese one? The JP dub sounds like everyone is a hot-blooded mecha pilot even when it doesn't fit their personality at all (lookin' at you here, Shulky boy). In the ENG track, they actually did things like making an awkward dorky teen sound like... y'know... an awkward dorky teen

Also, also: As much slack as I'm willing to cut Final Fantasy X-2, this is a game that features the sprog of Wakka. Just... think about that for a moment. Captain Cowlick spawning a new life form... Oh God, my mental eeeyyeeeesss.............!!! @_@

i haven't been rm'ing now in about 8 months or so. I'm just burnt out on it. I've started to make acting my thing that i do, in addition to standup. i've been thinking about how to make some almost racist jokes, to make people uncomfortable, and then turn it into a laugh somehow. i've got the opening idea for my next set, about how there are slave songs (it's actually a gospel song from 1897, but nobody's going to check ) on the voyager record. im going to open by singing it in a really exaggerated negro (re: southern black circa 1920s) accent, joke about how the aliens know we're ready for them, dare them to call me on it, do some other bits, and then once somebody does, close with something like how if this were 50 years ago.......(uncomfortable pause as i make eye contact with a minority audience member) we wouldn't have been born and our parents would still be happy. i was at an open mic last year, and this skinny black kid opened with "wow, this is the weirdest auction i've ever been to" and it was perfect, because it was the most shocking/funny thing he could say out of the gate to get our attention.

update: i just asked another comic for advice, and she said she didn't know. now i can make a joke about asking a jew for advice on a slave joke.

So, I spend a few hours earlier shiny-chaining in my Pokémon Platinum Edition, catching a box worths of various shinys.
Transfered them over to Black, then to AlphaSaphire. I'm now gonna wondertrade them all off, one by one. (The catch? They all have been given slilly / funny nicknames)
