General Chat
This week's News of the World is still in Iran as their drones struck Saudi Arabian oil refineries, their ‘indiscriminate’ strikes across Gulf of Oman, the attack on an Azerbaijan airport near schools, the destruction of a Bahrain's desalination plant, and other nations sparking outcry against Iran from Arab nations. Despite this, there are politicians in the US and in nations like Canada and Australia that have turned a blind eye on Iran's own claim they had enough fission material to make nearly a dozen nuclear bombs. Even CNN was caught peddeling pro-Iranian propaganda showing peace as the war rages. And for the first time in nearly half a century, Democrats in congress refuse to acknowledge Iran as the Number One State Sponsor of Terror, and attempted to restrain US President Trump's war powers despite official records of former President Obama attacking seven nations without any such congressional notification. But as the war wages, lazer weapons from the US's Space Force has been reported to 'end' Iranian missiles, Kurdish opposition forces getting ready to attack, and Israel vowing to eliminate anyone chosen to replace Iran's supreme Leader; and that leader now chosen to be Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. While the war rages in the middle east, Iran has cells abroad in other countries, an explosion at the US embassy in Oslo, four men arrested in the UK suspected of working with Iran on an an anti-semietic attack, even an accused Pakistani terrorist claiming Iran recruited him to assassinate both Trump and Biden a year ago. As the Russian Invasion of Ukraine rages, drones from Moscow struck an empty passanger train injuring a railway worker. And a ballistic missile strikes an apartment in Kharkiv, killing civilians and children. What will Russia do when France expands Europe's defences when they add their nuclear capable aircraft and arsenal? China is no stranger to subterfuge, analysis showing it worked with others to weaponize mass migration into hostile or adversarial nations to disrupt their communities, and had Chinese spies in the Phillipines aiding them against their military and supply lines. But of supplies, the Iran war has brought oil to a halt against a nation more heavily dependent than any other. And now, China's silence and refusal to commitments made to Iran have now damaged their credibility among allies. In Latin America, joint operations between the US and Ecuador targeting narco-terror groups is under way. And the leadership of Cuba may come under fire from the US Justice Department over multiple indictments including DEA charges related to narcotics trafficking. Iranians doing the ‘Trump dance’ to thank him for taking out Ayatollah Khamenei, Netanyahu's pledge Iran is not going to be an endless war and vows to target any supreme leader picked by their regime, Pakistani and Afghan forces exchanging fire displaces over 100,000 refugees according to reports from the United Nations, the Nancy Guthrie case in its second month, and the glove found being a dead end on finding the missing mother, the United Kingdom clearing British bases for limited strikes against Iran after falling under Iranian missile and drone attacks, Los Angeles's Mayor Karen Bass accused of protecting gangbangers after an FBI raid at MacArthur Park, Australian TV show host exploding in Persian with a curse-laiden attack calling for Iran’s Khamenei to burn in hell, Kamala Harris secretly milking California taxpayers during her book tour, 4000 year old bronze age weapons from the UAE seized at a layover at a Philadelphia Airport, Iranian-American journalists calling out New York Mayor Mamdani's recent stance that sympathizes with the terror regime, the firing and later re-assigning of Kristi Noem, a 30-year old woman arrested after firing shots at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills mansion while the pop-star was at home, and much more hit this week's news.

Tech Talk
As benevolent as some people might wish the nation to be, Chinese Hackers have been involved in numerous attacks around the world, Google announcing it disrupted China-Sponsored hacking group UNC2814 in their attacks upon over 40 countries. However, chinese hackers were able to expose the data to over 5000 Italian counter-terror operatives to the public, and China's UAT-9244, Famous Sparrow and Tropic Trooper have been found using malware to attack South American Telecoms for two years. And there's some reports that China breached the FBI's surveillance networks.

Lawsuits and settlements hit the News of the Cyber World this week, with Dating App Tinder paying over $60 Million for age discrimination and charging older clients more, and Allstate ordered to pay for illegally tracking its customers to increase their car insurance while simultaneously selling their customer data. Elon Musk testified in court to an October 2022 lawsuit attacking his tweets and claims about the number of fake bot accounts that upped the claimed membership count. Anthropic back in talks with Pentagon despite the claims of the CEO, Oracle slashing thousands of jobs to pay for its AI data center, and Google lowering fees to settle with Epic Games also hit the cyber news this week.

Six months has passed since its release. And now Windows Widgets! has recieved a new update. DerVVulfman reworked the feature handling the order in which widgets are prioritized so widgets such as buttons or checkboxes eould not react if a list appeared overtop. And he updated the Aleworks edition of the Mouse configuration page so it could significantly increase the performance of the double-click system. And along with his fixes, his demo now comes with a quickstart guide.

Marriage ceremonies can be so stale and boring. But if anyone downloaded the bride from among the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V last week, Ace_V added a few more reactions than just standing around. A giggling bride can add a little charm to a situation, whilst having one sign make one question if the marriage was arranged with an air of reluctancy.

Music and Audio
The Save-Point auditorium has been granted a new concert this week. So for those that wish to be regaled in the melancholy, DoubleX's Music Room has a new performance awaiting. A haunting melody of violin and brass begins "Irrevocable Tragedy", a tale where all is lost and there is no future for which to hope. Beginning as a piano and violin concerto is "Unstoppable Weeping", a somber work evoking despondency from as those who surround do nothing but criticize ever decision you make. While beginning with an unsettling choir, the light and rapid taps of a xylophone gives "Want To Be Forgotten'" an air of anxiety before the bridge takes over with a weighty melody of its own. Whether by intent of coincidence, "Fake Success" and its opening of piano mixed with bass strings harkens back to the late 80s dramatis of unscrupulous corporate motions pictures like 'Wallstreet', where one needs to appear successful to all around yet knows their facade will eventually fail. And with a doleful piano melody, "Crippling Stagnation" provokes how any would feel if everything and everyone depends upon them having to endure the anguish within a work place environment so foul.

Art and Design
Low and behold the Mad Gimp Skills of Solitaire as she reveales more of the CRAZY RANDOM STUFF she's made. Edits to an RPGMaker XP RTP sprite used to test a friend's demo was not enough. She's revealed others, be they edits to modest townsfolk, crawling toddlers, a character trapped within a bubble of sorts, and more. Leaky boats, toppled barrels and new doorway options can be seen. Not long after, she experimented with recreating a city scape with Gimp, currently a work in progress given how much effort is needed for cutscenes.

With it now March and the beginning of spring, the color green now returns to many a scapes. And that certainly holds true within Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing as she presents one of her longtime heroes. The emerald canine of New Jersey, Rolly Dorito now appears, with a happy go lucky smile, and a mighty punch to rival other hulking powerhouses. A simpler character by far from the ladies from her past posts, Rolly took much less time than expected, and the speed draw video uploaded is a mere 7 minutes in duration.

Well, that's it for this week.
