One of the oldest sites promoting RPGMaker XP scripts has been on the radar of the Resident Werewolf, so of course its About Time Phylomortis Had Its Own Archive. In just a day, he uploaded all the scripts therein, but says that there are plenty of graphics to find. Meanwhile, DerVVulfman re-organized the archives section, separating forums from independent game dev sites.

Development Discussion

If you were curious What's up with RMers in the forum, DerVVulfman has been looking for any bug reports with his re-envisioned scripts database based on the old RMXP SDK of nearly two decades ago. Meanwhile, he also appears to be binging on translating scripts from Japanese, with one taking up at least ten hours. But translating software doesn't take that long for most scripts. DerVVulfman spent another day and converted six scripts from Japanese in one fell swoop.

General Support

A long-standing problem has existed and been reported since at least 2024. But for those in need, there is a FIX FOR RPGMAKER MZ WHEN USING VIDIA GRAPHIC CARDS. This glitch that has hampered the menus of the editor has existed since version 1.9 of RPGMaker MZ had been released. But for those who found the dropdown menus improperly scaling or being cut off, krayedon found a solution that had worked for her.

For fans of the Frank Herbert novels or the recent Denis Villeneuve, a sand worm was probably a complete surprise to be found with all the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V. But a single facing sprite wasn't enough. Still, a sandworm is very long, so Ace_V came up with a unique method to generate the giant worm of Arakkis move through the sands. And if you thought he was done with the desert folk, you are in for a surprise and aman with a rifle strapped to his back.

Well, that's it for this week.
