The Save-Point Funding was a success. And with 2026, donations should be at a point where more storage and devices will be available for future use. This while work is being done to migrate the forum to a more secure software package. But as StrangeAutomaton reminded us, he has a full time job so time to work on such a project is not infinite.

More news about Nintendo's Palworld Lawsuit has appeared, and none of it was good for the company that created the likes of Zelda, Mario and of course, PokeMon. Japan's patent office rejected key claims made by Nintendo, citing a lack of originality while also noting that various other games already had the same said mechanics. This appears as a victory for Pocketpair who cited a number of past games such as ARK: Survival Evolved, Titan Fall 2 and even from the Zelda franchise. Nintendo has only two months to appeal this decision that directly harms their case.

For some, this weeks News of the World centers around the US government shutdown. Senator Schumer famously said he would end the shutdown when planes fell out of the sky, so now both Orlando International Airport and JFK have ended all landings. Meanwhile, the largest federal workers union is now applying pressure and demanding Democrats to abandon their demands. Even fellow John Fetterman blames his fellow Democrats, and relays they are "Moving against our core values". Crackdowns on violence in the US also made the news, be it the arrest of an anarchist who put a $45K hit on Attorney General Pam Bondi, a Trans-Teen pleads guilty to plotting mass murder at her Indiana High School, another suspect in the murder of a congressional intern last year has been arrested, and an ISIS inspired Halloween massacre plot in Michigan was busted. And for Black Lives Matter, its been a bad week as NY founder Hawk Newsome turned himself in over assault charges against Democratic District Leader William Allen. And its leadership is now being investigated by the Justice Department for defrauding tens of millions from the donors during the 2020 riots. Russia continues their onslaught, killing a reporter in one volley, a 7-year-old girl in another Meanwhile a Russian financier was blasted by the US Treasury Secretary as a "Russian propagandist", and snubbed by NATO Ambassador Matt Whitaker while new oil sanctions hit. Ukraine welcomed China's offer to help Trump end the war on their behalf, this while Ukraine blasted a key fuel pipeline Russian troops needed. And over three hundred more of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia had been located, Its been over a week since the Louvre jewel heist, and five more have been arrested in connection. However, the crown jewels have not been recovered. And in the UK, Prince Andrew is being stripped of his title and forced to leave the Royal Lodge following the Jeffrey Epstin scandal. And of Sarah Ferguson, she had divorced Andrew just years after their marriage and will be moving out to a separate house. In the Middle East, Hamas is scouring through the rubble to find the bodies of the remaining hostages before the Trump Administration's deadline expires. And Pakistan has vowed to decimate the Taliban as peace talks collapsed as terror cells use Afghanistan as their base and the Taliban kept trying to divert from that issue. Fortunately, there have been good tidings as Argentina’s Javier Milei defied polls for the midterm elections and made more legislative gains. And tariffs against China lowers as the framework of a trade deal beween it and the US was hashed out. A UK train attack survivor revealed knifeman’s chilling response after she begged for her life, the University of Washington scraps job posting after their DEI requirements were exposed, Biden appointed Jack Smith targeted the entire Repuiblican party with over 190 subpoenas, Brazil’s deadliest-ever police operation killing of 100 drug dealers with one decapitated, Anti-Israel protests at Syracuse University found to have been backed by Iran, multiple academic halls for students in the middle ages discovered at Oxford University, abandoned dogs in Chernobyl having their fur turned blue, and more hit this week's news.

Tech Talk
Nvidia made it big in this week's News of the Cyber World, signing a $500 billion deal to build AI Supercomputers for the US Energy Department and becoming the first $5 Trillion company powered by AI. One would think that Amazon would take the good news in how AI aided them as their stocks rose 14% in value. However, they still intend to cut 30K corporate jobs worldwide. It was bad news for Mark Zuckerberg as Meta’ stock plunged 11% this past Thursday. And it was bad news for Google as another data leak exposed the passwords to over183 million gMail accounts. Bill Gates walking back his alarmist climate doom rhetoric, Silicon Valley targeted by Russian Sex Spies, and even Prison Loaf hit this week's cybernews.

Its time for those who need hospital staff to take notice, for another medical professional made his appearance among the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V. One more nurse has graduated, a male with thick brown hair. And in keeping with the options that Ace_V has established, this nurse appears as normal, with a surgical facemask, and in full zombie mode for those unorthodox medical disasters in fiction. What does the future hold, the promise of something new next time. But do not be surprised if more nurses make their appearance later.

The Bibliotheca
A long time has passed since kyonide sput pen to paper for his tale, Looking for a Save-Point: The Mission, a marginally self-inserted story with a select few from the community. But after half a year, he and his traveling companion finally enter the town of Odrosde in search of the third, the werewolf who has their coinpurse. But they have to bargain with another lycanthrope who is set on creating a culinary franchise with his help.

Well, that's it for this week.
