Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

Announcements and Updates
DerVVulfman is still adding tutorials to the The new HBGames Archive Board, but finding a large number that used image gallery and file sharing sites that no longer exist. In some cases, content itself was pulled by the poster. And in a few cases, he saw that some individuals posted the same tutorial two, three or even four times in a row for no apparent reason. Still, he states he is now halfway through the tutorials.

General Chat
This week, the News of the World was stunned by the assassination of Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist who was at a Utah university answering questions following his speech. The killer, Tyler Robinson, used a bolt action rifle with shells etched with hateful messages. Following, Russia launched a new series of strikes against Ukraine, blaiming both Democrats and Ukraine supporters for the violence in the US. As to Russia and its war with Ukraine, it has not backed down, now exiting the truce against torture, and repeatedly violating NATO airspace. Poland called for an article 4 hearing, the result being a build up of defenses along the border entitled "Eastern Sentry". Russia scoffs at this and claims it a ploy to pressure US President Trump to end his goal for a peace deal. But while Trump calls for more sanctions to cripple Russia's economy and target India and China for their support, US B-2 stealth bombers slipped in with a weapons drop test right at Russia's doorstep. Israel's work to eliminate Hamas took a downturn this week as they struck an apartment complex in Doha, Qatar in an attempt to kill the Hamas's leadership that has been in Qatar all this time. The attack was in responce to the murder of six at at Jerusalem bus stop just before. China is continuing to make claims of territories and lands owned by other nations, now escalating tensions and laying claim to waters in the Philippines. And just after Iran signed a deal with the IAEA for regular inspections, backtracked and issued further warnings. Greta Thuberg's Gaza Flotilla fire caused by an activist and not a drone as claimed, the killer of a Ukrainian Refugee in the US out on cashless bail despite his long criminal history, France's recent collapse and struggle for a fourth prime minister in the past 12 months, the UK firing its ambassador to the UK amidst recent Epstein revalations, MSNBC fires another anchor over insensitve remarks of the Charlie Kirk assassination, Ex-White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre 'prepped' with answers over Biden decline by staff, so-named 'New California' wishes to break away from Democrat control to form 51st US state, and more hit this week's news.

Tech Talk
The threat of Chinese Hackers continues as Salt Typhoon has been running a years-long campaign to steal intellectual property, revealing now that its assault on worldwide telecommunications have given it access to nearly every citizen in 80 countries. And why not? For it also came out that China indeed hacked the UK's election system and stole the information of 40 million voters. Their vain attempt to cover it up was revealed when the FBI discovered that China was sending fake eMails to staffers within the US House of Representatives, eMails fraudulently claiming to be from the House Chairman over Chinese Strategy itself.

Security threats were the main focal-point within the News of the Cyber World as Microsoft Edge ranked as the worst browser for privacy, the two-factor authorization in many android phones is still in danger and has been since 2014, and modern RAM chips are in serious danger of Rowhammer attacks. Meanwhile, if you want to turn your iPhone into a DROID, there's a patch for you.

Games Development
Development Discussion
When looking to see What's up among our RMers, you'll find that Remi-chan is finally getting out of her funk and back into working on her game, recoding all her previous material. But more than that happened as she received new spritesork from Rune (or Xiie), and elf portraits from Pjcr.

Upcoming Projects
KDC has been busy, and wished to show off the evented title screen he created for Memorie. He felt he had some lag issue with how it operated, but received some guidance from kyonides.

Tutorials
This week, kyonides noted a few of Ruby's Peculiarities, things he considers strange or unusual when he compares them to other object-orientated languages. But it is merely a light read, not meant to go deep into the underlying mechanics of the language.

Material Development
Scripts Database
RPGMaker XP (RGSS) Engine
For those that think that having to condemn a party member to death is a harsh thing with the KursedVictory script by kyonides, be aware that he released two new updates. The first allows one to refuse the option which would lead into a second battle. And the second update grants one the opportunity to deliver a visual reaction before the second battle begins.

Last week, kyonides revealed the Kuick Leader Swap XP script which actively changes the party layout with the press of a button. But this week, he added two new features; the first being a switch to disable player control over the party cycling feature and the second the option to randomly decide the party leader from the group.

RPGMaker VX/VXAce (RGSS2/3) Engines
For those that think that having to condemn a party member to death is a harsh thing with the KursedVictory script by kyonides, be aware that he released an update. The latest version allows one to refuse the option to slay one of their own, but only at the cost of entering a second battle for their lives.

A strange bug appeared within the Command Color script that kyonides had for RPGMaker VXAce, a bug caused by how the command window updates the contents.

For those that are familiar the MGC's First Person Labyrinth Engine, 5Brainplay has been dabbling with scripting and released a few FPLE ACE Addon/Enhancements. Because he is using Claude.AI to assist in his labors, he notes at the top of the thread that there is AI assistance and coding present. However, you may find upgraded third-person player sprite options, tile swapping options and more.

Resources Database
2D Resources
In some games, you have to get the bad guy. In other games, you are the bad guy. So where else would you put the bad guy but in jail. But fret not, for you can now begin filling your prison system demands with the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V. This week, Ace_V began his latest spriting arc with a few hands extending and reaching out through prison bars.

Creativity Section
Music and Audio
For your listening pleasure, two more works have been presented within DoubleX's Music Room. The first entitled "Heavy Burden" is indeed laden with deep bass, tuba and bass drumwork representing all the responsibilities one may have, if but only for a possible reprieve with light chimes and wood instruments temporarily releiving the strain. The second composition entitled "Total Surrender" begins with a bass followed by rapid but low octive keyboard progression to symbolize the lack of control anyone has on their life, only for the outlook to appear hopeful with light chimes, wood block and flutes.

Art and Design
Once more has a full color render of the Pandemonic Neko of chaos entered Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing!. Not with a sideview glance has Rykki Schrödinger appeared this past May, but in a full portrait as she stares into your soul. Armed with a heavy barreled pistol and a few coins to flip, she's ready to play the game Ultrakill, but with anyone she pleases. A work that took over half a day, the post came with a flourishing prose and a twenty-four minute speed draw video.

Literature
As she continues to work on her game, we are gifed a few of Remi-chan's Writing Snippets. In this instance, the shippet is for a future optional event within Remi-chan's game, Fantasia, where its revealled that the Children of Calamity's numbers have indeed grown. But for how long would their numbers remain when a powerful force known only as Red appears and has one in restraints and retribution in her eyes,

Well, that's it for this week.
