I'm currently checking how many layers are possible with Looseleaf resources. As I said, hairs can have at least 3 layers(hair, hair extension-front, hair extension-side or back). And clothes may have more layers(some clothing pieces will overlay other clothing articles while they themselves allow overcoat or cloak covers them), although some parts(like sleeves) can go to accessories slot.

I'd like to see more resources added if formatted properly. I too have separate areas for Hair and Hair extensions. Hair has a couple folders associated with them:

The Mouth folder will have Teeth and Tissue subfolders exclusively, while the Eyes folder will have Whites and Lashes subfolders.

Nearly every other folder displayed will contain three subfolders: Shadow, Trim-1 and Trim-2. The shadow folder will contain finely detailed graphics if the graphic for the resource is supposed to cast a shadow on the body.

The only folders herein that don’t have subfolders are the Hair Extensions and Facial Hair folders.

Granted, you're looking towards backsprites, those that appear behind the template or other drawn resources.
