Greetings everyone,
With all the material that could be attained from both Game Baker.com and HBGames, that could be saved within our Archive board, it has come time to correct the date-stamps to all the content and the names of the original topic authors.
In truth, that has already begun.
The whole of the Game Baker archive board has all its threads corrected, most of which being by the board's creator, sandgolem. But I will admit, I found it extremely odd that nearly every one of his script posts were released within a near 30 day window. And this was reflected within his scripts as if he re-issued two years of scripts with new release dates. Still, those were the dates of his scripts within the board, and was replicated.
As of the HBGames archive... well, that is a larger and more extensive forum. Not as large as RPG Maker Central despite a near 20 year run, it sitll has over 1000 threads. And as of now, all the completed games, resources posts and MV/MZ plugins have been given proper attribution to the authors and corrected datestamps. As of now, I have only the tutorials and the extensive ruby scripts section to address.
Enjoy!
EDIT: Boy, was I wrong.
I found more 'completed' games from HBGames, and am in the works of recreating threads to restore those games, be they direct link games or supplying links to more-recent Itch.Io pages (or the like).
I found one individual who created three games in 2008, a Bishoujo simulator and a game designed solely for the android... perhaps dated given change in technology. And I expect even more at some point.
