Having a spotty internet connection was on the mind of KDC. However, it afforded him some time to do some gaming or just unplug from social media.

Not only the Russian Invsion of Ukraine, but the spillout into NATO allies have been in this week's News of the World. While Moscow claims that Europe will crumble under Russiaphobia, it is undeniable that Russian Troops have been caught breaching Estonian borders while their drones continue violating the airspace of other NATO nations. Because of this, Estonia and others have begun the construction of concrete bunkers along the Russian border while Russia allies blast EU nations as reviving Naziism (the same claim they used upon their invasion of Ukraine) and boasted new supersonic missiles even as Ukraine brings havok to Russia's Shadow Oil Tanker fleet. While Moscow claims to be open to Ukraine to join the European Union as part of a peace deal, how truthful can that claim be when all evidence shows they intend to continue the assault. In Central America, pressure against Venezuela's Maduro regime continues as US President trump issues a total blockade of Venezuelan oil. Rather than giving assistance, Columbia refuses Venezuela's plea for military assistance. And In Ecuador, the US gains access to the nation's airbase. Conservative voices are being heard as the Presidential election in Chile was a landsline. However, it has been two weeks since voting ended in Honduras with Conservative Nasry Asfura in the lead, the voting paused by the Castro regime. Within the United States, last week's shooting at Brown University left many questions unanswered. Not only over whether the suspect who killed himself shouted "Allahu Akbar' as he opened fired, but what was his connection to the MIT Professor he may have also slain. Violence against Immigration Officers in the US also continues, but the FBI stopped a New Years Eve terrorist bombing plot. And despite that, democrats in Illinois are proposing a bill to the federal 287(g) program which allows state and local officers from determining and detaining illegal aliens despite how many were found with criminal histories even in the US. China seems to be on everyone's bad side this week, the automotive industry going against China' as China has no regulations forcing EV or like mandates which frees them from pricier cars outside their country. However, China is also on Iran's bad side as it has chosen to side with the United Arab Emarates over three islands in the Persian Gulf that Iran wishes to claim as their own. But how long will China itself hold out as the unemployment in China has grown, and over twenty million of the Gen-Z generation or 12% of China are unemployeed. Iran working to recover a uranium enrichment facility destroyed months ago, the revealing eMails of former FBI agents showing the Mar-a-Lago raid had no legal probable cause, Ontario Premier's tourist boycott of Florida over Trump's tariffs, Former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad living in near-isolation in Russia, Ex-Epstein madam Ghislaine Maxwell asking for release from prison before the Epstein files release, the death of actor/director Rob Reiner by his son, billions in loans from the EU and from frozen Russian funds possibly heading to Ukraine, and more hit this week's news.

Tech Talk
Artificial Intelligence certainly hit this week's News of the Cyber World as Firefox has created turmoil and anger among its base when it announced it would become an AI browser. Artificial Intelligence caused some confusion with the Wall Street Journal after they changed their vending system service over to AI, the service literally giving thousands in free goodies and even placing orders for free, the AI announcing Snack Liberation Day. More fallout from the Biden Border Crisis became evident as over fifty members of Tren de Aragua itself was busted for the most brazen cybercrime cases in years, using sophisticated malware to loot millions from U.S. ATMs. And the continuous aggression from Russia has spilled outside of their conflict with Ukraine, Denmark reporting that Russia has been carrying out cyberattacks against their infrastructure and websites. TicTok's purchase by the US finalized, the plummeting sales of video game consoles, and much more hit this week's cybernews.

Games Development
Development Discussion
If you were wondering What's up with RMers like Remi-chan, she had been receiving feedback over the latest test demo for her game, noticing issues and little things alike. She has done a fair amount of touch ups for some characters and their story arcs, and she had received more necessary sprites from artist, Xiie (or Rune). As to her portait artist, Pjcr has now settled in a new home after the turbulent hurricanes int he Philippines.

The starry sky over the mountainous avian village had become a sanguine hue as Remi-chan chose to reveal two more images within the Maps and screenshots thread. Herein, she wished to showcase the spritework created by Xiie for her chaotic entity of Schrödinger.

Material Development
Tools
Not exactly a tool used to draw, sprite or create a game itself, DerVVulfman released the The SIL-y Streamer Clock to be a constant companion and alarm clock for those who sit at their computer for hours on end. Designed to render graphics every so often, it is both alarm clock and a steady reminder to take breaks every once and a while. The clock did have a problem rendering .png files for those using Windows 11, but just days later that issue was fixed and other minor improvements made.

If you look at the latest release of HiddenChest RGSS Player Executable, you will see that kyonides is hard at work to ensure the best gamepad experience. Additions were made so one can use a gamepad to work with his recent KEnterText system, and included house-keeping methods to reset operations.

Scripts Database
HiddenChest (RGSS1-3) Engine
This week, kyonides took the KEnterText HC script which adds an actual text entry window feature to Hidden Chest, and added new features. The ability to limit the number of characters typed is certainly something one would wish to have. But not as much as being able to dictate if the field accepts only numeric data or letters alone. And following and update to HiddenChest itself, the script was further upgraded with enw means to delete within the field.

Resources Database
2D Resources
This week, there are no new doctors, nor nurses to appear. Instead, you may find a street youth with spiky hair among the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V. Spiked leather wrist bands and chains on his pants accent this red-shirted fellah. But as his wont, Ace_V had released this youth in three styles. So if you wish to see him in a sardonic mood or shocked with mouth agape, you have luck on your side.

Creativity Section
Art and Design
As the winter chill hits many, it takes one who is on the sunny side of the equator to render a vision of frost and snow. Enter her gallery and view another work belonging to Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing!, for the kitsune of snow and ice stands before you. Clad in a kimono as white as the finest powder with accents of bright sapphire, she stands before a glacial wall of ice with arms outstretched to command the east winds. As per usual, a speed-draw video accompanies Remi-chan's work, a video of twelve minutes to relay over seven hours of labour.

Literature
What exactly is a demon? Such was a question posed within the pages of Remi-chan's Writing Snippets~. Are they human, or are they something else? Are they more insect like? Oh, what a tangled web may be woven when two journal pages have made their appearance.

Well, that's it for this week.
