Im really sick of seeing the vx mapping system in MV
do you think they should bring back the XP system?

Of course they should.

The XP mapping is 10 times better than the new mapping in VX/MV.
You are nearly forced to do parallax mapping in VX/MV to have good looking maps and that's kind of pathetic for the newest version of RPG Maker.

Agreed. It truly boggles the mind how the map system's gotten worse in every new installment of the RPG Maker series staring with VX.

Hence why I stopped after trying RPGMaker VX and didn't bother with their later systems. They claimed to have made it simpler to map. It woulda been nice to have a toggle (Simple/Advanced) mapping option, if you take my meaning.
