Working on a futuristic game set in post-apocalyptic Britain. It has Dwarves and Elves. Complicated. Anyway, all graphics and scripts and everything are going to be either custom or RTP.

Sounds like a very interesting concept, how did the dwarves and elves end up in Britain after the apocalypse?

I am working on the first chapter release of Final Fantasy Awakening. Going through the phases of creating cut scenes right now which should tide me well into the next few weeks.

A nuclear war ended up in mutations forming, which bred over generations creating two distinct sub-races, one smaller and one larger, which the humans jokingly called Dwarves and Elves.

Nice, the most original implementation of a fantasy race that I have heard in a while.

I look forward to seeing your project.

I've been working on a 'Character Creation' system that allows you to choose the basic race of your main character (actor database) and then select his/her features. Tricky little fella because not all races have the same list of features.

I'm tying it together with Visual Equipment, my MultiSlots system, and hopefully Visual Battlers. I may have to mod my old Battlers script for it.

Trying menu scripting. Everything's going smoother than I thought it would with just a few bumps along the way.

I'm working on my main project and I also try to finish up a Demo-ready release.
So far my project has been kept a secret for anyone for the past 2~3 years.
2~3 years... and still not finished with the 1st chapter. XD
Then again, about 1 and a half years of that have been times I had no time / mood to work on it... sadly.
Or I'd hit a snag and I need a time out to re-think my ways of editing. :p

For us, and to salvage some classic works, I'm searching for some old classic tutorials from the yesteryear era of RPGMaker 2000. Basically for story writing, character development, plots and tricks, and anything related to making your game.

Given to © 2003 date of these articles, Don't expect them to be in the 'top' of the tutorial list section, but they will have the author's name attached. Not mine. Not sure they're even active anymore in the community.
