RPGMaker Webs Archiving Endeavor
#21
Oookay, I've been busy.

Once I was done with the TUTORIALS forum (and that gave me a hella headache), I began working upon the PROJECTS Main board which has two forums for finished games:  COMMERCIAL and COMPLETED.

Plan That kinda makes me wonder if we should have a separate board for commercial product releases....

WELL... the COMMERCIAL games forum was the smaller, and I actually tore through it.   I did a large portion at the beginning of my work day... went around the provinces of Falkreath, Windhelm and Solitude for a bit (Skyrim if you were confused)... then returned later to finish the forum off.   One day, and I acquired the 1st page to every commercial game and uploaded them.

Yesterday, I began an assault on the COMPLETED games, and performed the same process for the first 15 index pages within.   For a point of reference, that is 300 games.   And for a further point of reference... the COMPLETED games forum has 74 index pages.  Thus, I was 20% done yesterday.

Today, I tackled another 15 index pages, now finishing and uploading the last of index page 30.  As of now, I am 40% done with the COMPLETED games.

I will note that some of the completed games go to ITCH pages that do as for MOOLAH Cash and with that are themselves Commercial.  Sigh...  they didn't notice the other forum?   And these from 2021 when the other board was clearly running...

GUYS! I am nearly done with actually downloading the web pages from WEBS. There's only 20% left of the COMPLETED games threads to search, and likely not even that many games to save.

And now I am SO DONE! IT IS COMPLETE! I have downloaded the 1st page of EVERY necessary resource, script, plugin, game, tool and tutorial in RPGMaker Webs. I have uploaded that collection to MediaFire. And I have provided the links to those web page copies which are accessible HERE:

TUTORIALS:

COMPLETE PROJECTS:

I personally do not need these as I do have the web pages on a separate drive for later re-constitution in our Archive board. This is for the impatient and the off-site archivists. And as the threads themselves state, they are for a LIMITED TIME. I expect to delete these from MY FREAKIN MEDIAFIRE ACCOUNT some time in September (I wanna reclaim my dang space.).

But now, the phase of downloading all the pertinent webpages from RMWebs is DONE!

I stated earlier that I would be deleting the zipped archive files listed above in September. These zip files are actually quite massive in comparison to the the space that a forum itself would take due to the massive amount of scripts, graphics and other support files applied to each save thread.

Deletion will be performed within the next few days.

Thankies.

But I gotta slow down with weather changing right now. Annoying as this is an annoyance for over a decade, weather affects my hand ever since I broke it on some SCHLUB'S face.

Picture Gilligan from the old Gilligan's Island TV show or (gawd...) Jim Parsons from Big Bang Theory ducking and weaving against a drunk on Halloween, and then slams his fist against the jaw of ... Michael Clarke Duncan. T.K.O.

Don't mess with the werewolf. He took boxing in his teens.

But it was a boxer's break. And it always acts up when the seasons change like this. So yeah, a little slow down.

NOT A STOP, A SLOWDOWN.
