Dispatched by the Lord of Angels to investigate a corruptive taint eminating from the town of Infernotte, the angel ironically named Grace is plunged headfirst into both a romantic relationship prompted by a prayer, and a far bigger danger than she ever could have imagined!

Meanwhile, a pink-pastella native of the world gets swept up in Grace's antics and finds herself in possession of the yen she had ever been hoping for! A sapphic-vibes love story about two completely intoxicating girlies who are way in over their heads!

Grace


Embodying the snooty book-club wordsworth who was raised on soaps and anime fan club nonsense, Grace is the deviant and borderline degenerate mind who needs someone to ground her, and Nankaina's simplistic way of seeing the world helps her stay on her feet. Grace brings a flight of fanciness to every interaction she's a part of, with very few able to catch her completely off-guard, though it does definitely happen.

And while she wears her ironic book-club prose like it's both a blessing and a curse, she does have her moments where she is 'real' and communicates in a genuine way, but it's shown she rarely does this with anyone but the people she deeply cares about... Nankaina clearly ends up being one of those people.

While as an Arcane-elemented Nekomata, you'd think her life would be a breeze, the harsh truth is that magic on Zen nekoma is so completely normalized that Nankaina is nothing special. She's a wagecuck who struggles just to pay rent and get by in a world with demands far too high for her to be expected to reasonably meet, leading her into a delusional death-spiral that eventually leads to her snapping upon her being fired from the job she had which she thought was at least sustainable.

Grace enters her life and suddenly, everything changes, and while Grace definitely has an advantage- Nankaina is able to reclaim her confidence and be there for Grace when the chips are down. She's very much the straight girl to Grace's Rose Lalondeian flighty horseshit. Cutting through the pretense Grace heaps on and just getting straight to the core of an issue instead of dancing around the ironic thorns standing in the way.
