We have very few Godot users. Its great to see more come in.

Feel free to share what techniques or features you come up with as we are sorely lacking in Godot-Specific game development content.

Is there any particular game you are working on, or a title?

To be honest i have zero knowledge in making games lol. But i tackling the challenge to do a JRPG, with help of AI when it comes to coding, it kinda teaches me how to do and if something goes wrong correct me, and to make it harder (looks like i love to hit my head on walls  Laughing) i using a very specific rule set made by me (Tabletops rpg rules to be more precise).

The main, and great problem, is the 2d resources. What i don't know about coding mutiply on drawing. I tried some LPC chars generators (free ones) and it still a little bit incomplete (If all the sprites machted with animations would be perfect, but stills a work in progress, and is a great one by the way! I like the style but then resources didn't match with the necessity... Then i saw the halfkaiser... Oh boy... I like modular things and i looking for more resources to that, as sprites and spritesheets.

Thanks for the welcome! And hope to be a asset for the community!

Just as long as you use AI to assist in coding and finding errors, and not let it do the coding itself.

AI doing actual coding will either (1) tend to either suck at it and ya gotta repair it after or (2) its literally carbon-copying someone else's. In any event, AI code is like AI art... cannot be copywritten as it is derived from another's work and ... oh, there has been backlash in the RPG community against individuals who tried to publish/market scripts/plugins that were actually AI generated.

I'm just saying 'be careful.' Winking

Honestly, my wall now looks like a giant CONNECT 4 gameboard from all the head bashing I did in my earlier years learning how to script. It was a back and forth case looking at what others had created and a case of dissection.

My walls in a nutshell
The Western audience of RPGMaker XP users never knew anything about RUBY and only got the cursory download while Japan had it available in stores in a BOX-SET replete with manuals. "We learn by doing." - Adm. Kirk (Star Trek II).

And I remember the RPGMaker 95/2000 era...

Generators are still limited no matter how intuitive they may be. They are never the end-all-be-all regardless of complexity... and Heh... I should know :P

Yeah, i saw that you are making battle sprites in the HKCP style, kudos to that!
As for the IA use thanks for the tip! Even in a day-to-day use you need to revise it. But look for the bright side! Skynet isn't so close as we imagined.

Laughing + Tongue sticking out I was working on them until stuff happened. LOTS and lots of stuff...

Skynet? I'm a big believer in the "Butlarian Jihad" envisioned in 1966 where AI is concerned.
