I decided the time had at last come to draw Nanianne in an epic high definition render.

Six hours later, I'd finished the piece.

Everything just... went super smoothly, honestly!

Oh, and I have a speed draw vid here as well! In case anyone was interested in my process.

So... I watched all I could of Spy x Family, decided Yor was best girl, and then realized Kyon would probably do the same thing to Putin since she is a Demoness now, but ascended from an assassin who worked for the Ukraine.

The moment this thought hit me of a Soulcatcher like kyon assassinating Putin Yor-style i couldn't let it go as this most terrific image, background and all, coalesced in my imagination.

And so, I clearly had no choice but to draw it!

Feel like the next Soulcatcher I'm due to draw is Kira: Maiden of Hellfire, but for now I have this...

Mischevia: The Rising Hellstar

And yeah she likes Boba tea. This is her at a roadside Boba tea cafe interacting either with one of her demonic pals or her next meal. I'll letchu' think about it!

Here's a speed draw to show my creative process.

A Year In Review
[Image: i4q0U8c.png]
While I didn't create nearly as much artwork this year as I did last year. I have more to show as I had no really barren months!
But not only did I manage this, I also made some money from my work, via an exhibition!
If it has a red dot, that means it sold!
And due to my unique style and being one if not the only digital artist. These submissions gained attention like wildfire!
Both young and old alike were quite enthralled by these two pieces.
While only one sold at the exhibition, another was snapped up as a gift for Christmas by one of the people I attend art workshop with!
I got so much positive reinforcement it was absurd! Despite it seeming like I'm often smug, when i get genuine praise I get weak-knee'd and get all flusters. Almost like my smug act is just that: an act.
An act that fools only the truly egotistical and the idiotic, neither of which I really would want as friends~
So yeah~ Art is fun and now its lucrative (to a very small extent) as well!

You do cool work and it is definitely good to stay active with it. Keep practicing your craft, there are a lot of people that can't do what you do.

I don't ever seem to see you draw males. Do you find drawing them difficult?

I used to have an excruciatingly hard time drawing female figures, they would always look dude-ish for some reason. They'd either have broad man shoulders or the face shading looked like 5 O'clock shadow or the hands were too big. Always something. On the flip side, I once had a girlfriend that would draw girlish looking muscle dudes. No matter how hard she tried to draw The Rock, he'd wind up looking like he's lacing up for a ballet. The Undertaker would look like a sad malnourished man (and maybe he was underneath his tough exterior). I wonder if most artists secretly have a tough time drawing the opposing gender. I don't think I do anymore, but I used to.

Either way, you're at a pretty good level right now, and a year from now you'll probably refine and improve upon your workflow and technique. As an artist myself, I'd have a hard time speed drawing all that.

Keep practicing, keep studying, keep doing what you do. Take care.

It's not so much that I struggle with male forms, I just find girls much more fun to draw.

Here's a few of the males I've drawn overtime as reference.

Remi the BEAST!

[sarc]Can you tone it down with the being good at what you do? I'm very offended at your talent and you need to quit putting so much detail into these silly drawings. You're making me mad, jealous, envious, disgusted, and generally.........[/sarc]

Nah, that was pretty cool, I enjoy witnessing the creative process. Thank you.

The Scarlet Rager loosely reminds me of Ozzy Osbourne's "The Ultimate Sin" album cover. Xali with all her runes and assortment of spell cards is truly wicked.
