 What's up, RMers?

I changed the management of damage displaying in my CBS, allowing for multiple damage sprites to be displayed at the same time.

Know what?

Those advanced movement scripts that allow you to have running and 8 directional graphics by using '_dash.png' and other graphics? They don't work with the Visual Equipment scripts. VisEquipment assumes you're sticking with just one graphic. It refuses to recognize the extra charsets.

So I'm thinking about making a movement script that assumes the charset also includes the running pose and all.

On a side note, I just checked the downloads for my CharGen EX system. It's not doing bad at all.
CharGen EX... downloaded 464 times
The Half Kaiser Package #1.... 255 times
The Half Kaiser Package #2.... 188 times
The RMXP RTP Package #1.... 267 times
The RMXP RTP Package #2.... 246 times
and
The RM2K/3 Package .... 99 times
(Yeah, I made one for old RM2K/3 users)

Hey, this is interesting. I'm going to do it myself. Let's see. Let's start with the battle system. Which is the most downloaded version?

v2.10 - 1101 downloads, current for 5 months
v2.14 - 899, 5 months
v2.13 - 681, 5 months
v2.11 - 560, 2 months
v2.12 - 230, 3 weeks
v3.0 - 129, 2 weeks

I don't have statistics before version 2.10. The last version published on .org was 2.8. I can't say if and how much leaving the "big" forum may have affected the visibility of the script.

A script that seems to have been negatively affected is Enhanced (Customizable) Weapons, now Enhanced Equipment. Version 0.5 was published on .org and has been downloaded 1141 times. As a matter of fact it is the most downloaded script I have trace of. Published on January 30th 2008, it has been the current version for more than a year, until version 0.6 appeared on March 11th 2009, collecting only 121 downloads.
The last and current version, Enhanced Equipment v1.0, uploaded on August 2nd 2009, has not been that successful, with 95 downloads, and this in spite of the very much requested upgrade of the script, now able to customize both weapons and armors. I guess most people who were interested and downloaded version 0.5 don't even know that newer versions exist.

Finally:

Skills Learning System v2.1 - 478 downloads - 13 months
Skills Learning System v2.2 - 26 downloads - 2 weeks

Well I have been working on my game profusely. Big shout out to Charlie and his ctb. The features this thing has for customization to really make it your own are astounding. Working in conjunction with derv's animated battlers is making this game something that I am actually proud of.Cheery Thanks for the script and constant tutelage Derv and Charlie. You guys rock. Hopefully with some work I will be working with you guys on some scripting project. That would be awesome! Happy with a sweat
