 Celestial Tear: Demon's Revenge [RELEASE]
#61
Yeah, but we don't live by the shore. We only suffered a minor power outage thank goodness. But from what I've heard Sandy wreaked havoc on the shore leaving a lot of people homeless. But there's still some things that we need to take care of. Thanks for caring lol.

Haven't posted in a while and just wanted everyone to know that the conversion to Ace is going rather well. Here are some shots of it in action!

We've fixed a lot of things that were negatives in the old version such as the darkness of the screens. Made clearer paths so players don't walking into seemingly invisible objects. Maps have been completely redone, but still have sort of the same layout as before to keep things familiar. We have also gotten rid of some of the repetitiveness in the music thanks to Michael, and have more art from our very talented artist Ricky! I hope you guys like what you see and I can't wait to have this new demo out and can't wait to hear you guys feedback!

hmm, reminds me, been looking for people to do me some art...

though in those pics I can't really see the character very well, but he looks taller than those low res short people that VX Ace has for RTP The very reason why i stick to XP is cause of the small tiny people. which is good that you figured out how to transcend from that.

your music links broken:

I'm the kinda guy who shows pictures... was probably unnecessary but I did.

and I was clearly logged in.

Thank you for letting me know. I've since changed it from private to public.

Ace is pretty good, I still miss mapping in the actual editor, but I have more freedom.... But more freedom takes more time of course :P Using tall characters in Ace is just a matter of bringing your graphics over though, so I just switched over and had my mind set on using parallax maps. I find it easier because I use Tiled now.

still can't access the link...

must be cause im on old soundcloud..

i'm an aspiring game designer/novel writer, so i am looking for tips when it comes to game making especially when it can involve short cuts and tips on spriting...as i'm a terrible artist in that respect..
also i like to compose music too...
