 Greetings!
#1
Greetings, everyone.

My name is Carlos Davilla (da-vee-ya). I'm a writer, poet, translator, graphic designer and game developer.
I'm a very thoughtful, introspective and religious person, fond of philosophy, theology, spirituality, literature, psychology, fine arts, and cinema.
Furthermore, I tend to write mostly about heavy, haunting themes, like the daily lives of broken people, the abyss of our minds, and the human condition.
When I’m not doing that, I listen to ambient/adult standards music, play old cRPGs, develop my games, or study boring topics like ethics or metaphysics.

I began my game-developing adventure in July 2018, after buying RPG Maker VX Ace and working on a contemporary RPG called Dying Cat. Unfortunately, things didn't work out and I ultimately abandoned the project.
After that, I made two games in the recently-released RPG Maker MZ. Those games were An Essay on Insipidity I & II. I made those games with the intention of knowing if I could actually release something worthwhile.

You can check them both out by accessing my Itch page or my RMN profile.

Right now, I'm working in two projects with an indie studio I founded, called Cats From The Underground, where I work as a Game Director and Lead Writer.

One of them is called An Essay on Insipidity III: The Sleeping Hummingbird, an RTP-based RPG being developed in RPG Maker XP. The other one is called Odysseus, a point-and-click, experimental adventure game being developed in RPG Maker MZ.

I will probably make threads for both of them at a proper time.

And that's pretty much it. Nice meeting you all.

If you'd like, you can read some of my writing at my website. You can also click here to have access to other websites I am also on (Twitter, Twitch, Last.fm and the like).

May the Lord bless you all, and have a good day.

Cheers.
