2026 Game Jam

31 July to 9th August, any 4 days

Theme: Fairies and/or nature

Constraints: Max 4 days development time, Include the forum's logo somewhere

AND

Any 2 of the following:

1. The game has (a) fixed time schedule(s) or count down(s), under the pressure of a time limit.
   
2. No menus or standard style GUI. Find new ways to communicate with the player.
   
3. Use a novel control scheme or input method (consider what your audience has access to for this).
   
4. Use mini-games instead of an overarching game style.
   
5. No use of classic RPG mechanics like skills, combat etc.
   

If you submit a game, you also agree to play at least 2 other games and to give feedback.
There are no judges and no prizes. The goal is to make something and to have fun.

For example, if you are only free on the weekends, that's fine. You can work on both Saturday and Sundays and hand in your game on the 9th.
There is no sign up, but it would be nice to let other forum members know if you are planning on participating. You can also participate as a pair.
