I haven't actually done pretty much anything this week, as I got so many large milestones last week I felt I could take some time off to play games and engage in some drama that happened in the RM community. Then as you all likely know, RPGmakerWebs forums were closed down by GGG in a bizarre corporate move to try and pull some shady stuff, fracturing them against practically the entire community.

I called RMwebs closing down, anyone could have seen that coming at this point-- but I imagined it'd take longer, and be ended not with a bang but utter silence. As it was it was rare to see even ten active members on the site at one time, we get more traffic here!

I just figured one day the site would lead to their hosting provider's page, what happened was very different.

And yes, much worse.

It was a forced shut down, with one week given before the site becomes read-only. The in december the forums will be gone for good.

So... I won then?

The war of fourteen years? Yes, I suppose technically, I did. But this present and unforeseen manner of webs downfall has actually provided the community with an opportunity to escape from the cluthes of corpo, which everyone seems fairly eager to do except the occasional A.I. enthusiast and they are grossly outnumbered.

Until recently, I've shown RMwebs only my worst, but now that we're all on equal footing, it's time I show my best. I've been in talks with admins and mods of webs, and helping out where I can, as has DerVVulfman and other members of this commuinity, and we're hardly the only one contributing.

Hilariously, this happened a literal day after another drama which i made a very entertaining video about! So I'm glad I've had time to waffle on about such business, the timing is immaculate.

But this is me, and to tell you I got absolutely nothing done would be an absolute lie!
More Flavor, More Fizzle!
Populating worlds with more flavor NPCs and giving presently lacking flavor some more bite has been my current modus operandi! See for yourself!
