I had looked at what I could salvage from the decade-lost forum known as RPG RPG Revolution.  And sadly, it wasn't much.  Merely nine complete projects, and way less than half of the RPGMaker XP and RPGMaker VX scripts were all that could be saved.  I know that the forum began delving into RPGMaker VXAce, but their boards were protected and was never duplicated within the Internet Archive.  And likewise, no graphics nor any other resource was able to be saved.

Well! I sure hope someone picks up that phone...

BECAUSE I FUCKING CALLED IT!

Still... over one-hundred and seventy threads were salvaged.

Comically, this did not actually increase our post count. How? Wll,, all those dang spammers we've had over the years left behind a number of posts we separated and threw into the garbage can.  I merely took over those posts made by those spammers and literally replaced their content and ownership.

Hey, they're spammers.   Like they're gonna complain?  They're trying to ruin things anyway.

I'm more shocked they even bother, I mean... I'm far better at that then they are and I'm not even trying!

So now, we have the RPG RPG Revolution forum within our Archive Board. And with it, over one-hundred and seventy topics within.

I love having more scripts and resources for an outdated engine or two that no one who isn't geriatric or out of their mind uses seriously!

Sass and crass aside, epic work VVulfy! As usual slaying and really having this forum live up to the 'LMAO WE ACTUALLY HAVE ALL YOUR LOST AND FOUND OCNTENT, COME N' GET IT, DIPSHIT!'

Like it's sincerely bizarre to me that this little fringe community is going to be the one that survives the forumpocalypse.

No, RPGmakerWebs will not survive. Official endorsement didn't save their discord, it didn't save their Unite engine and it sure as hell won't save their forum. And no, the game jam they are hosting isn't going to be saved either. Though I've made personal intervention to ensure that much.

Considering they're still as loose with the use of the banhammer as they were back in their concurrent peak, yea-- I don't see them surviving after WITH. Hell, they might keel over and die before then if the gamejam fails spectacularly enough. As it is they already are seeing less daily activity on most of their boards than this place.

But I do not support archiving that shitshow. The stain of that website must be purged from living memory and erased, we must do to them like what the Persians did to the spartans. Incinerate every fiber of their relevance and usher in an age where it could be hardly said they even existed.

Only unlike the Persians who had to actually work to erase the Spartans from thw annals of history only to fail anyway, all we have to do is sit back and do... nothing.

God, I can't wait to see how hard this empire built on greed and nepotism will be undone by all this nothing we're doing!

Also that would be a huge dataload which this forum DOES NOT WANT OR NEED so lets do to rpgmakerwebs forum what it did to its own community, and let it rot.

Gotcha Gotcha Games, an empire of dirt, felled to a kingdom of ashes by its own fervor. The dunning kreuger of these idiots pulling out of the deal they had with Degica utterly destroyed any hope they had of bringing it back, because as is no surprise to anyone but their ego-riddled asses, they don't have a fucking clue how to market anything. They are a hodge podge of amateur game-devs posing as something more. I mean for shit's sake, I can do better marketing than them and i would NEVER consider myself a good marketing / pr person.
