General Chat
Robocalls have been on the mind of DerVVulfman for some time. But he just received an eMail that his telephone service will soon have a filter added to eliminate the nuisance.
China once again hit the News of the World, be it denial of the Sovereignty of other nations, suggesting nuclear crisis when South Korean's President met with the U.S. President during a summit, illegal police stations worldwide, or the detention of a Taiwan-based book publisher for national security. Roughly a year since the evacuation from Afghanistan, and the U.S. Secretary of State made claim that only a few dozen of 16,000 Americans that wish to be part of the Mass Evacuation from Sudan amidst the fighting. The U.S. Democrat Party has strife from within as thier controlling body chose to cancel any debates during their Primaries, this as President Biden announced his re-election campaign. Two others in the party are vehement as they had announced their bids in the party, and Biden's memory may be called into question. The U.S. Republican Party proposed bills to halt Chinese police stations, after seeing two prominent Democrats mingling with said station workers. And the Judiciary subpoenas over claims of censorship on Covid, election info and more. Regarding Media Celebrities, both Fox News and CNN lost personalities as both Tucker Carlson and Don Lemon will no longer be asked to return. And on a somber note, Jerry Springer, the King of Trash TV, passed away at age 79. Canada going nuclear amidst the Union strikes, the assassination of Ayatollah Soleimani, Cuba running out of petroleum, and much more hit this week's news.
On a sad note for the community, the thread also contained a report that a Javascript plugin coder named ct_bolt may have passed away due to an accident.

Tech Talk
A.I. technology took center stage in the News of the Cyber World as a German Magazine is being sued by the family of former Formula One Driver, Michael Schumacher. The magazine used an AI to generate a fake interview as Schumacher has been in a medically induced coma since 2013 following a horrific skiing accident. Would it be any wonder that Elon Musk met with the U.S. Senate leadership over regulating A.I.? The continued Anti-Trust lawsuit against Google, Big Tech Censorship, Apple using AI to track your emotions, and much more hit the Cyber News this week.
Forum Games & Nonsense
For the lovers of pen-and-paper games, DerVVulfman found another humorous tale he dubbed, Those Bird-Brained Zombies. As told by the Dungeon master, the adventurers in his campaign found an inventive way to deal with the hordes of enemies he set upon them.
Material Development
Scripts Database
Because of an odd request, the EKuipSwitch system by kyonides now has a new add-on to allow the game developers predefine in-game variables dealing with the hero's equipment.
The KSetTilesets XP script that kyonides made for RPGMaker XP allows you to change the tileset of a map that will soon be loaded. Unlike other tileset changing scripts, it does not change the tileset of a map already in play. Instead, you define the ID of the map and the tileset to use before then teleporting to said map.
If your RPGMaker XP Ace game has an enemy you don't want the heroes to target, then KBlockTarget ACE by kyonides may be for you. With it, you can create a status effect that can be given to your big bad that prevents the player from even targeting.
For both RPGMaker XP, VX and VXAce, kyonides crafted the KModTimer system to let you customize the Timer display.

Music and Audio
Having returned last week, Eric Matyas continued to present his Original Music and Sound FX with a few new pieces. He's working to get into the groove after the loss of a family member, and most of the pieces were adventureous and light-hearted works. However, Kingdom in Despair, has both a dark yet ethereal feel for those looking to complement their eldrich dungeons.
DoubleX has been a long-time coder in the RPGMaker engine world. But this week he ventured into a new world, that of music. Enter DoubleX Music Room as he presents his first work, "Everyone Turning Against You" with his Soundcloud link and the dream that became his muse.

Well, that's it for this week.
