Occasions
Days come and days go, but a birthday is always something special as a number of our members got to celebrate theirs. Early this week, amp, superegp, darrell2150beta and zowiez had their own celebrations which were followed later by tobiax's, NatillaAmarilla's and Azulsorahogosha's cake day. And it wasn't long before Rednayt had the chance to celebrate his birthday. After that, both Raphael Rpg Games and rellz93 had birthdays to celebrate. And these were followed soon after by Dakamos's birthday. And it didn't take long before LagunaX1's, Bakunin's and iceflux's had passed.

Games Development
Development Discussion
For those cuious What's up among other RMers, Kain Nobel is going to take a break from his music to avoid some burnout, though most of his album is basically complete. Meanwhile, kyonides sent a bug report to Ubuntu's launchpad service regarding issues with Ruby's DIR function, only to find out that content within Ruby 3.0 on up will require applications to include most of Ruby's files to access the command and possibly more.
Material Development
Tools
A new upgrade was made to the HiddenChest RGSS Player Executable as kyonides updated the system to autodetect which compressed gamefile you were using, be it the RGSAAD for RPGMaker XP games, or those for RPGMaker VX or VXAce. Comically, the update was thanks in part to a bug kyonides found within Ubuntu's Ruby development package.
Now under a new name, The Layered Spritesheet Tool has been upgraded with new zoom enhancements allowing the user to adjust the horizontal and vertical displaay of the zoomed item and saving its settings. Resources Database
If you decided to check out the HALF KAISER BATTLER PROJECT, you would find that all the pages were massively reorganized, the first page now having a table of contents which you can click and be taken to whatever page you wished. Meanwhile, DerVVulfman announced that all of the resources within have been resized and altered to support a better version of a rifle/crossbow user's action pose. It should come as no surprise that he would also have a new rifle spritesheet resource added to the collective.
Creativity Section
Music and Audio
While Eric Matyas enjoys Sharing His Original Music, he had to take an undesired hiatus on composing as he had to focus more on the maintenance of his website. Buttons on his website that grant access to his higher-quality work are currently non-functional, and he is working with his host to resolve the issue. But you can always eMail Eric if you have need for any of the music, or if you wish to contact him for a commission.
Special Projects
ReGaL (RPG Game Lab)
Screenies
If anyone was curious how the REGAL Application was coming along, Kain Nobel released a sneak preview of the edito itself. Not all of it is finished, but you can see how well the construction is doing. Currently, he is working on his plans for 2023 development. And he is welcoming feedback.
Well, that's it for this week.
