(September 26 to October 2, 2022)

Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

Official Area
Occasions
We got to celebrate a number of Birthdays this week, starting with NewHope's. After that, Kaiho had a birthday celebration. And we were also able to celebrate the joint birthdays of Erechel, SoftGuy and MarchHare. And lastly, RoseQuartz's birthday came and went.

General Chat
It appears that you can't go a week without Russia hitting the News of the World, whether it be Putin's grantinc citizenship to NSA leaker Edward Snowden, claiming to have annexed the Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions of Ukraine, or the immediate loss of the key port hub Russia had used to invade by Ukrainian troops. No longer bound by the White House, former Press Secretary Jen Psaki stated that Democrats will lose office this mid-term based on their connections to President Biden, as it will be a referendum on skyrocketing inflation, rampant crime, an insecure southern border and crushing gas prices. For that, the Heritage Foundation shown that households have suffered an average $4000 annual loss under the Biden Administration. Possible prosecution of Alec Baldwin and three others over the Rust movie shooting, the loss of Coolio at age 56, Lindsay Graham's call to declare Russia a State Sponsor of Teror, and more are present to read.

Forum Games & Nonsense
When a Dungeon Master works upon his own custom campaign, he tries to lead his players into the quest he crafted. But one game that DerVVulfman happened upon found that a DM's players instead chose to join The Cult of the Chained O-freakin'-blivion! Another funny Dungeons and Dragons pen-n-paper story posted, it should give readers a chuckle/

Games Development
Development Discussion
For those within the community, it may be a good idea to check in and find out What's up with your fellow RMers. Steel Beast 6Beets was one who reached out to both Remi-chan and Kain Nobel while working upon his own game. Kain Nobel continues working upon the music for his game that focuses more upon exploration and actual natural or plotted hazards rather than enemy combat. Meanwhile, Remi-chan continues to work on the various branching story arcs in her game, completing various individual story arcs while working to make the exiting dialog more succinct and impactful.

Upcoming Projects
Work continues upon The Tricksy Candidate as kyonides continues to improve the basic systems of his games. Meanwhile, he also added some more scenes to the game, revealing the mindset of one of his characters. Still, he admits he needs practice on his mapping skills.

Material Development
Scripts Database
A new feature made for the Ruby class of RPGMaker engines appeared this week as kyonides compiled the TouchNewMapEvent scripts. For RPGMaker XP, VX and VXAce, you can now set up your game to begin auto-run events directly after either player or event touch.

Resources Database
Two new textures entered the Massive Library of Free Images as Eric Matyas released a slightly smooth concrete texture in classic light gray and a very coarse wood bark in light and dark shades.

It was not long ago that DerVVulfman worked to make matching outfits for male templated characters as he had for the ladies within the HALF KAISER BATTLER PROJECT, even if perhaps embarrassing for seeing a guy in a dress. But now, he had reworked the kimonos he crafted for the female template and now have a suitable set for the guys. There is only one obi (or belt) style currently available, but assumes that more will come.

Creativity Section
Art and Design
Two new pieces of music were composed by Eric Matyas who continues to Share His Original Music. His first piece is a fun-filled melody with a heavy beat entitled the "MONSTER MERRY-GO-ROUND". The second piece with an 80s synthesizer edge and the occassional sound of a Japanese Typhoon (a wooden percussion instrument) was given tht title "CYBER STREET MARKET".

Well, that's it for this week.
