Needed something unusual, found this place.

Hello, I am an amateur game maker at best.

I am an avid gamer though. I tried to make a small game for my children as their Christmas present this year. I only started a few days ago and luckily I finished the game.

I stumbled on this forum because I was looking for a way to play the game while the window is unfocused.

Hopefully it will work.

This place looks awesome. If I venture any further in the endeavour, I am sure I will be able to find great help here. Thank you.

*HOWUUU!!!!*  (Translation from Lycan:  Howdy!)

Ah, had fun making a game already did we?  Oh, fun!  And please, keep coming in.  Maybe you will relay some tricks you've picked up, or maybe share a resource or two.  *Shrugs*  Are you a spriter or musician?  I tend to be a scripter, though I am branching a little.

And I see you found the Prevent Deactivation script.  You may be enteretained by the 'Commercial Scripts Package' which contains it as well as a few other tidbits.

Welcome! What a nice idea for a gift. What was the theme and genre?
