Big Tech apparently has the back of Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors
Okay, what's with this now? Another news story by the NY Post is being censored, and it's one that many know about anyway!
Joe Concha Wrote:This story around Black Lives Matter, we’re talking about four homes valued at $3 million, the head of New York City’s Black Lives Matter chapter is calling for an investigation.
...
How is that not a story? Black Lives Matter is a powerful entity, they raised more than $90 million just last year, they should not therefore be exempt from scrutiny or accountability, but Big Tech apparently has their back and says, "Nothing to see here, we're going to censor this."
Nervous   This is just as bad as when Facebook, Twitter and company banned, blocked and removed the NY Post's factual reporting on Hunter Biden's laptop.

President Joe Biden hosted Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga at the White House. President Biden said that the U.S. and Japan would work to end the Covid-19 Pandemic and worked to advance shared values including human rights. And along with that, they both talked about reforming the World Health Organization which former President Donald Trump blamed for Covid-19's spread by accepting China's bogus data and propaganda.

Sarcasm Of course, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi demanded that Japan not get involved.

Still, it might be moot as...

It appears that the two plan to expand military cooperation amidst concerns about China's increasing aggression. The foreign and defense ministers of both natoins sat down to talks, and they exchanged views over China's claims and their 'grave concerns' over Hong Kong and human rights violations.

Following this, Germany intends to dispatch a Frigate to the Indo-Pacific region.

For now...
According to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, she claimed to be opposed to expanding the Supreme Court and further said she wasn't going to put the bill to a vote. She says she "doesn’t know if that’s a good idea or bad idea." However, she also said it wasn't out of the question and is waiting for President Biden's commission regarding reforming the court.

  Book
Yes, the Supreme court has fluctuated over the years, but it has stayed between seven to nine, with it being raised to ten under President Lincoln so he could have an anti-slavery majority. It hasn't been any higher than nine for over one hundred years, though President Roosevelt wanted to add six more judges so he would always have a majority to spite the judges ruling against him. It was with FDR's plan for the increase where the phrase "Packing the Court" originated.

Yes, you read that right.  Incredible  The woman's future daughter-in-law turned out to be her actual daughter.  That would normally kill the wedding, wouldn't it? Well, it didn't. It turns out the groom was actually adopted and not the bride's actual blood!

The story of Russia offering Bounties against US troops apparently came from interrogations going on within Afghanistan, a highly unreliable way to obtain credible information. Still, the New York Times published its first story on June 26. And not long after this, Rep. Liz Cheney and house Democrats used this material to halt President Trump's plan to withdraw from Afghanistan. Though the Washington Post gave President Trump 'Four Pinocchios' about the bounty story, it turned out that the former President was correct.

Though Biden pressed forward with this story during the 2020 campaign, his administration is now disavowing this revelation. And the story now appears to have been a means to sabotage the Afghanistan peace process and withdrawal while Trump was in office. It wouldn't be the first time that false news was spread among the mainstream media.

Trial over George Floyd Convicts
Verdict will be upheld by the Facts
Judge Jeanine Pirro agreed with a Minnesota jury's guilty verdict in the trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin. She suggests that if it was up for an appeal, the facts will support the guilty verdicts.
Jeanine Pirro Wrote:I've tried many murder cases, and I've sat as a judge on murder cases. It is rare that you even get a picture of the victim in a murder case ... but here, we had a living, breathing person that the jury was able to relate to. ... This was an emotional as well as an intellectual decision. And when I say that, make no mistake: The facts are solid on this verdict. This verdict will be upheld on appeal.
Chauvin was found guilty on all three counts; Second Degree Manslaughter, Third Degree Murder and Second Degree Murder. It will be two months before sentencing, but the Prosecution wishes to levy additional charges during sentencing.

Maxine Waters openly said this to reporters when asked if Chauvin was acquitted. Because of her comments, Chauvin's attorney asked the Judge for a mistrial, arguing her comments had influenced the jury.

Washington Examiner Wrote:California is set to release at least 63,000 inmates convicted of violent crimes in an effort to create “safer prisons.”
"The goal is to increase incentives for the incarcerated population to practice good behavior and follow the rules while serving their time and participate in rehabilitative and educational programs, which will lead to safer prisons," Dana Simas, a state Office of Administrative Law spokeswoman, said in a statement about the mass release of prisoners in the Golden State.
"Additionally, these changes would help to reduce the prison population by allowing incarcerated persons to earn their way home sooner," she added.
These “incentives” are a part of an effort to give inmates “good time credits” to quicken their release.

New York Democrats, including Ocasio-Cortez, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Rep. Ocasio-Cortez said it was "not acceptable" to use jails as "garbage bins."

China engages in widespread international propaganda efforts

Quote:The George H.W. Bush Foundation for U.S.-China Relations agreed to accept $5 million from a group with ties to the Chinese Communist Party and China's international propaganda efforts, according to a report Saturday.
The group, which was founded by Neil Bush, a brother to former President George W. Bush and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, goes by the name Bush China Foundation for short. Its goal, according to its website, is to build "a constructive relationship" between the U.S. and China.
But a written agreement published by Axios reveals that the Bush China Foundation agreed in 2019 to accept $5 million over five years from the China-United States Exchange Foundation, an organization that's been criticized as a key part of China's international propaganda efforts.

For the previous eight decades, Esau had gone largely unnoticed. Her people, the San – of whom the Western Nǁnǂe (ǂKhomani) are one group of many – are good at that. Their survival depended on it: first for the countless centuries that they had South Africa to themselves, living deftly on the land as hunter gatherers. And then, with the arrival of other groups, to evade the scrutiny of those who meant them harm.

The farm owner also forbade Esau from speaking her mother tongue, N|uu; a language with roots to humanity's very origins. Instead, the newly minted Afrikaans language (a mere 300 or so years old) would be Esau's camouflage for almost her entire life.

"Corina Newsome is a Black ornithologist, as rare as some of the birds she studies," Post environmental justice reporter Darryl Fears began his piece, noting she was hired to "break down barriers" at the Georgia Audubon nature preserve.
"But overcoming those barriers will be daunting. As with the wider field of conservation, racism and colonialism are in ornithology’s DNA, indelibly linked to its origin story. The challenge of how to move forward is roiling White ornithologists as they debate whether to change as many as 150 eponyms, names of birds that honor people with connections to slavery and supremacy."

Audio of the talk was posted on the substack online platform of former New York Times opinion writer and editor Bari Weiss on Friday, along with an interview of Khilanani conducted by writer and podcaster Katie Herzog.

A flyer promoting the talk and posted online by Weiss titled the lecture, "The Psychopathic Problem of the White Mind" and included "learning objectives" such as "Set up white people’s absence of empathy towards black rage as a problem" and "Understand how white people are psychologically dependent on black rage."

Four bills were introduced aimed at reining in the power of tech giants,
even to break them up as they did AT&T's phone monopoly.
Such measures includes banning tech giants from owning/making subsidiaries to compete against other businesses on their platforms. Such actions would be akin to Amazon finding a gaming platform making money on their service and then creating their own take over the market.  Other measures also make it illegal in most cases to give preferential treatment, halt mergers unless it can show the merger doesn't harm competition, and allow users to end service and transfer their data elsewhere if desired, including to the competition.

"From Amazon and Facebook to Google and Apple. It is clear that these unregulated tech giants have become too big to care," said U.S. Representative Pramila Jayapal, a Washington state Democrat and sponsor of this measure.

Representative David Cicilline, the Democratic chair of the antitrust panel, is an original co-sponsor of the bills, as is the top Republican, Ken Buck. The chair of the Judiciary Committee, Jerrold Nadler, also sponsored the bills.
