 Weapon, Armor & Item Types
#1
Well basically how much is too much?

Also are any weapons in rpg's that has'nt been used very often cause i am trying to create a variety of weapons for different character. Even splitting cliche weapons like swords into different types. with different advantages

Here are a few examples of the item types that are going to be in my project. (Also certain skills can only be used by certain weapons or certain characters)

Dagger - Medium low attack power but increases defense.
Knife - Medium attack power but increses speed.
Short Sword - Medium low attack power conbines advantages from dagger and knife groups.
Middle Sword - Average ATK and DEF (No special bonuses)
Long Sword - Medium High ATK and DEF (Some weapons require two hands to use)
Great Sword - High Attack but low spd and dex (2-Handed only)
Rapier - Low Attack but High Agl, Dex, (increases evade, Piercing damage)
Axe- Medium Attack (1-Handed)
Great Axe- (2-Handed) Very High Attack, low speed.

That's all i got for weapons next it's armor.

Robe - Light armor. Low Def but a high magic defense and evasion plus resistance to certain elements.
Mail - Medium Armor, Good Protection but weak against piercing
Vest- Light armor, fair defense?
Clothes - Light armor. low defense but has a speed advatage plus other types of armor can be worn on top of it.
Shield - Comes in three types Light, Medium, and Heavy
Buckler - Low defense but focuses on evading attacks.
Guard - Has defense and evasions properties but also defend against abnormal status

That's all i got so far.
