Strange Happening
#1
I recently formatted my C:/ and installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 on my computer. I had copied RPG XP, the .exe and all, onto a disc, the entire folder of everything related to the game, and then when I was done installing windows, put it back on my computer.

When I tried opening it up it gave an error, so I reinstalled the whole program, but keeping my custom maps, and of course the game I was making. After reinstallation, the game itself runs fine, I can play it as designed, but when I open the game in the editor, all of my maps are blank with the exception of part of my world map.

Events, too, have disappeared along with most of the meat of the game. Does anyone have an idea why it would do this? My only guess is that when opening the game via the editor it saved the filepath of the files and now the filepath for those given files is now different, OR, when I reinstalled the game, I overwrote my folders of events etc with empty ones.

But that still raises the question as to why my game (in editor) still shows SOME maps (partially) and certain things, while others are gone.

If anyone has a reason for this phenomena it would be greatly appreciated.
I trying not to think about the worst case scenario of I have to start over from scratch. If this is the case, when if someone knows how I could possibly turn my playable game which has everything, back into an editable copy somehow I would love you forever.

Thanks guys, love the community, keep up the great work.
Btw, sorry if I posted this in the wrong thread >.>
