Lately I've been thinking about 2 specific terms and their possible correlation, I even ended up with this, eh, catch phrase?

"There is chaos, ergo, there is haste" (or hastiness?)

Or perhaps I'm just getting dizzy by sleeping less than a few hours for the last couple of days...

RE: What's on your mind? - KasperKalamity - 12-23-2012

that sounds like a sleep deprived summary. what line of thinking is behind that? i love writing when i'm exhausted, it's so much easier to quickly pull complicated thoughts out of the air.

Sorry for my absence; been busy with finals, family matters, Christmas preparations, and music. :P

How does everyone feel now that the world didn't end on the 21st? XD Course, I've known all along that the Mayan calendar actually resets to year 0, as opposed to ending altogether. XD

HO - HO - HO !

Hey, Python!

Yep, everyone's been doing the Holiday thing, so December usually goes through a slowdown.

As far as the Mayans 'Cancelling Christmas'... Sure they had an 'End of the Era' prediction, but they have predictions for a good 1200 years later. It was an astronomical prediction. Winking

RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 12-24-2012

Actually, the Mayan calendar didn't reset to 0, a long forgotten 13th baktun (era) was supposed to begin a few days ago. Archaeologists recently found proof of the existence of that baktun and released their discoveries earlier this year. One way or the other, it was not supposed to end there.

Fair enough about the year 0 part; I got that part of the supposed truth from my brother. XD

Early Merry Christmas! :)

One of the forums we're partnered with, RPGMaker Détente, organises a yearly game lottery where members can give games they no longer use in to be won by other members, no money or anything of the like required. I was thinking next year we could do something similar if you guys like the idea.
It can involve steam keys you have never used or downloadable DRM free games that you have fully uninstalled (i.e. you must delete it from your system once you have given it away or it counts as piracy).

I don't know what the scope of this could be on Save-Point but this year each of the 20 participants got 4 or 5 games including some major titles and many indie games. I think it's a nice thing to be able to do as a community, but your opinions are welcome.

RE: What's on your mind? - yamina-chan - 12-26-2012

It sounds nice. With physical coppies of the games it might be a bit difficult seeing as you'd need to ship them to somewhere in the world and it might turn out to be expencive, depending on where you've got to sent those things to.

On my mind right now is the fact that I have even more respect for someone now then I allready had (which was a lot to begin with) for fulfilling a quite embarassing promise for charity. I was exided about it, i laughed a lot and I am thankfull.
Had someone who didn't know the backstory witnessed this it would have probably been a bit hard to explain, which is okay tough =) I suppose many people have things they hold dear for some reason which would strike an "outsider" as quite odd at first.
I am worried tough that some people out there with a 'certain' mindset will take this wonderfully honest and brave for-charitiy!-present and try to break it into pieces that hurt and will give other people the wrong first impression for the entirely wrong reason. I really hope this will not be the case but the internet is was it is: not every single one is nice.
(Or not even the internet alone. I am still mad at certain buisnesspeople for preventing a wonderfully made christmas-charity song from a legitimately earned higher place in the charts simply because of who it is from. How is that even fair? Why do they get the right to decide who is allowed on the top and who is not? Aren't musical charts supposed to represent what the people like instead of what the companys want to sell?)
If anoyne on this forum knows what I am talking about, I salute you. Winking
*puts her beard on*
*female and proud*

Anyway, I feel honoured to be part of that group of humanity who can
laugh at something and appreciate the thought without feeling the urge
to be mean about it. Or at least I hope I am part of that group XD

Other then that: I am hoping you all have a wonderfull christmas this year! =D Or happy hollidays if you don't celebrate it =)

Just kidding.

apparently it's suspicious if i buy cold medicine, allergy pills, and vitamin c tabs at the pharmacy. the girl at the register didn't card me, but the armed police officer stopped me right before i got outside the door to demand my id. punkass. is it really a mystery that i'm sick? the entire nose sector of my face is flaked and irritated.... because i've been blowing my nose in super absorbent paper towels instead of going out to buy tissues with lotion.

Don't you hate it when you work on something and then it crashes when you hit "save"? I mean literally, saving the project makes my software crash sometimes because my computer can't keep up.
Well right now that happens way to often. At least I'm getting a new PC tomorrow and that will be a thing of the past.
Phew.
