It has to be said that Machinima was in a slump before the deal went through - their public relations had gone to shit with their reputation (and that hasn't changed at all), but now they just have a lot more money.

tech companies buy each other so that they can create a larger conglomeration of ownership over technology. once the physical world becomes less and less of a factor in our daily lives, and technology replaces human interaction (think "autistic" basement dwellers) then these companies will have complete control over what we do, what we know, and how we interact. imagine of google bought photobucket, deviant art, imageshack, and every other image hosting service/site. they would 'own' online digital photography. everything you post would become their property, and you would have to agree to their terms of service and end user license dealies.

i just got back from a work trip, and my girlfriend is either retarded, or hasn't been home whatsoever.
if your dog barfs all over the floor, would you clean it up?
if the rug cleaning machine doesn't have any cleaning fluid, would you just fill it with water so the barf doesn't stain the white carpet?
if the cat pisses on the floor outside the litter box, would you just leave it there and not open any windows? or would you clean it up?
would you leave full garbage bags all over the place? or would you take them down to the dumpster?
if the pets ran out of food, and you work within walking distance of two stores that are open 24 hrs, would you just not get any more food for them?
if you missed your car's recommended oil change by 6 months and over 1000 miles, would you go get it changed?
would you just let the rabbit kick shit out of its cage and leave it on the floor? or would you clean it up?
would you do laundry? or just leave it in piles all over the bedroom?
would you water the plants if you saw them starting to dry up?
would you run the dishwasher? would you do any of these things? or make excuses about how you're SO busy working full time folding clothes for $8/hr at jc penny, and trying to get put on studies at the university, and sleeping til 1pm?
Am i just a stupid male dumbfuck? or is all this really that fucking hard to take care of? I never had a problem taking care of my three cats and housecleaning and food shopping, but obviously i must be a goddamn superman.
i shouldn't even be on the internet right now because my fucking apartment reeks like cat piss, needs to be vacuumed, the trash has to go out, laundry needs to be done, the dishwasher needs to be loaded and run, litter boxes have to be scooped, and i have to go get dry food for all these fucking animals that we have. ON TOP OF driving 10 hours from illinois to tennessee
i think i really just have to sit down and examine all the bullshit that i've allowed into my life because this is just nonsense, to think that i can't even go away for a week and a half to work and make money, and not come back to a home that should be on one of those TLC 'human zoo' type shows.

On my Mind: Zombies are in Miami Florida! I live there. Things are looking bad down here. The military is on high alert. I saw I few military tanks. Mass panic. All hell is breaking loose. Lock you doors, try to hide, they coming... Stock up on weapons. This is it. This is real! Who would have thought we could play resident evil in real life. Those Zombie bastards won't get me. If we can't contain the problem, the air force will nuke Miami. Wish us luck.

saw Prometheus last night. it was really bad. most of the people in the theater seemed to agree with me after it was over. nothing happened for almost an hour, and then a bunch of stuff that made no sense happened, and then space Jason Vorhees got raped to death by an albino octopus.
