Perhaps some of you have heard about an anime related to the year 2020, well, it's not part of this news article at all. What made me pick that title was the fact this pop corn crisis is happening in 2020. While the anime feature a super computer virus, not the infamous Wuhan virus, this crisis is about farmers being unable to sell their kernels to movie theaters and fairs and other venues. You say, you can store pop corn for about a year before it gets too dry to ever pop up. Since they're about to harvest more corn, this is getting quite troublesome indeed. Some of them were in need of building more silos to store the kernels. Nope, their efforts to sell popcorn to consumers like you and, well, not me because I live abroad hasn't really solved their problem at all. So let me ask you this: are you able to buy some of those 111 million pounds of corn?

The alleged espionage activity occurred from May 2018 to his arrest, prosecutors said.

Baimadajie Angwang, 33, who was born in China's Tibet region and serves in the U.S. Army Reserve, allegedly reported on the activity of ethnic Tibetans in the New York area to the Chinese consulate and was tasked with recruiting potential intelligence assets among the city's Tibetan community, prosecutors said.

As an agent, he “spotted and assessed potential ethnic Tibetan intelligence sources in the New York metropolitan area and beyond,” the complaint said. Tibetans have long been oppressed by the Chinese government and many are believed to have been killed since China occupied the region decades ago.
"The PRC has referred to Tibetans as one of 'the five poisons' threatening the stability of the PRC," the federal complaint said.
The charges against Angwang include acting as an agent of a foreign government without prior notification to the attorney general, making false statements about his contacts, obstruction of an official proceeding and wire fraud.
The complaint said Angwang serves as a civil affairs specialist with a rank of staff sergeant in the Army Reserve and is stationed at Fort Dix, N.J. He holds a "SECURITY" level security clearance, which allows him access to classified information.

What makes it even worse, he's Tibetan himself and his father is retired from China People's Liberation Army and is a member of the Chinese Communist Party, while his mother is a retired government official and also a member of the Communist Party and his brother serves as a reservist in the People's Liberation Army. Other conversations included Angwang talking about recruiting potential Tibetans as agents and rewarding them with 10-year U.S. visas.

Storm's size is generating dangerous ocean conditions that are reaching the U.S. So Maine get prepared!

The core of Hurricane Teddy is passing east of Bermuda on Monday, but the large storm will have impacts stretching across the East Coast of the U.S.
The National Hurricane Center (NHC) said Monday that Hurricane Teddy is a Category 2 storm, packing maximum sustained winds of 100 mph and is located about 160 miles southeast of Bermuda, moving north-northeast at 9 mph.
Teddy will pass east of Bermuda throughout the day, with tropical storm conditions already moving over the island.

Fall officially begins Tuesday morning, with the autumnal equinox at 9:30 a.m. EDT

Keep in mind that Teddy might reach Canada later on according to NHC while Beta is threatening another region of the U.S.

The problem with this storm, it's going to bring heavy rainfall to areas that were hit by Hurricane Laura.
