Did you know this? Costa Rica and Mexico have not been coexisting in the best terms for the last couple of years. The reason: Costa Rican government had forbidden the importation of avocado (aguacate) like the ingredient you would include in your burrito and taco recipes. Why not? Once upon a time there was a serious phytosanitary issue that made all Mexican avocados inedible. They could sicken you in no time. Of course as times changed, Mexicans claim they have solved the issue, the Costa Rican government, lead by two consecutive PAC administations, have not changed their minds and Mexico pretends to sue Costa Rica for breaking the trade agreement they had signed years ago...
