KChapters XP & ACE

Introduction

This is a scriptlet that lets you choose a specific chapter of your game story via a custom menu. This is not a plug & play script for you do need to tweak it by setting the corresponding values of its CONSTANTS. Still, you can test run it right away!  Shocked

Of course, you can use your own custom graphics. Happy with a sweat

Features
  • You can predefine story chapters!
  • You can add more chapters in game!
  • Chapters can be locked or unlocked at any time.
  • Chapters' statuses now are: unlocked, locked, failed and completed. All of them have their own icons or pictures.
  • Use a semi cutomizable Transition.
  • Send specific heroes to the chosen map.

An Interesting Update

This time my scripts have endured several changes and it was worth the effort! Shocked
As you can see on the initial post, I have included several screenshots of how it looks like by default.
I know, some of the resources are lame Happy with a sweat but you already knew they were customizable, right? Winking
They also include a curious transition scene now! Grinning
It even shows the heading, the picture for the selected chapter and loading dots, as I call them. Happy with a sweat There are 5 of them and once they reached the last one... Kaboom! The map gets loaded and displayed on screen! Grinning
Happy with a sweat OK, I admit it, the map has loaded even before you can see the very first dot on the game window.

By the way, you can preset a backdrop for the selection menu. Very happy + Tongue sticking out

Latest Update

After reaching the 1.2.0 milestone Shocked KChapters now sports new failed Two Thumbs Down! and completed Two Thumbs Up! icons!
Both statuses will make the chapter's picture to gray out. Ghost Just like me!
You can now search for a chapter by its ID. Grinning
Several script calls has been added Two Thumbs Up! while others have been modified. Happy with a sweat

Warning! Shocked I won't be supporting any old versions of these scripts. Confused
