It also gives $10 million to the National Endowment for the Arts, because they obviously do research on Covid-19. The bill also grants $500 billion to bail out states and $375 billion to bail out cities, this expected to help States that were already on spending sprees. That, coupled with nearly $2 billion money to Colleges, why is only $15 million going to maintaining operations, rental assistance supportive services, and other features to help low-income families? Yet, and I quote, it "Allows wealthy people who make money from dividends and royalties to claim the Earned Income Tax Credit, which is designed for lower-income Americans."
