Sweden starts testing worlds first central bank digital currency
https://www.linuxexperten.com/news/sweden-starts-testing-worlds-first-central-bank-digital-currency
In theory the Swedish e-currency or CBDC would allow that country to offer an official and centralized currency that might be safer than Bitcoin and Libra and others. Of course, we can't tell for sure if it'd ever be launched for public use... Time will tell.

Belgian city of Aalst says anti-Semitic parade 'just fun'
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-51612541

BBC Wrote:A Belgian city has defended as "just fun" a carnival featuring caricatures of Orthodox Jews wearing huge fur hats, long fake noses and ant costumes.
Israel, Jewish groups and Belgian Prime Minister Sophie Wilmès were among many who strongly condemned the costumes in Sunday's parade in Aalst.

I wonder if Aalst citizens would like us to organize a parade to make fun of them. Laughing Perhaps that's what we should do to teach them a lesson! Shocked
By the way, they also mocked UNESCO... Obviously they had already dropped their event from the list of supported cultural heritage events.

RE: News of the World - DerVVulfman - 02-26-2020

I can't believe this one. If someone intentionally infects you with HIV, something that is life threatening and incurable, Democrats want to reduce it from a felony to a misdemeanor??

Washington Democrats pushing bill that reduces punishment for intentional HIV transmission

If you think that this is nonsense, I discovered that they passed it as a Californian State Law in 2017! And this from the Washington Post.

I lost a relative to this years ago. This is utter nonsense. Accidental is one thing, but intentionally infecting someone with anything life threatening is criminal.
