List of KUnits Gosu Recent Improvements
  • It sports its own message window system! You can also set its current position (top, middle or bottom). [Image: happy.gif]
  • The map stops while you're reading a message just like in RM.
  • Maps are loaded properly now, well, it's displayed correctly on screen no matter if you're switching maps or getting out of gem roulette.
  • Now shop, bank, chest and gem roulette scenes load instantly!
What is not so fun about its development is the way you configure map events... by typing stuff in TXT files [Image: tongue.gif] I know it is a very slow process if compared with a good looking GUI, but it works no matter if I am working on Linux or Windows! [Image: shocked.gif] Since I am its only game developer I do not really feel the need to change the way it is setup.

  • KChests include pretty much all of Kustom XP's KChests features.

  • It sports good looking gauge bars!

  • Some of Klearance's features have been implemented.

  • Counter events were included.

  • Audio features like turning sound volume on and off.

  • Many class scripts were split into several Ruby files.

  • Events now handle choices!

  • Minor setup and scene changes were made in the last few updates.

I have been working on my KUnits Gosu project lately and I have improved several parts of its code in order to make it look even better than ever before... one step at a time Laughing 

I have improved the transition scene and added extra options to make it look different for almost every scene in my game.

Ye Lazy Units, Prepare Yourselves for Inspection!

Guess what, guys? There was a need for an late hour inspection of my famous script! In version 1.2.14 you are now able to set faces or portraits to display them while transitioning between different units! You are even allowed to set the face or portrait x and y coordinates all by yourselves! How would it look like now? Well, that might depends on your very own taste, guys! Laughing

Melana: That's the kind of freedom I like to have in all of my favorite scripts! Now I can place as many faces on screen as I wish.
Shark: O_o? Seriously!? Couldn't you just place one at a time?
Melana: I guess you don't recall I love your scripts and to place lots of stuff in the same room like all those magic chests I created thanks to KChests XP.
Shark: Right, how could I ever forget something that unusual just like that... Anyway you can only show one face or portrait at any given time.
Melana: Now you're being mean! Shocked
Shark: I thought I've always been mean, dear Melana. Laughing
