CITY OF THE NOW SUPERHERO THE BUMP!

Well, it seems you wasn't be able to test the new leech seed feature but version 1.2.4 should allow you to check out what happens once any battler gets seeded.

BTW, Steel, now I don't know what other skills could be included in future versions of my script. Any good ideas?

RE: KStates XP - Melana - 02-08-2016

I haven't had the time yet to test this script by myself.

But an idea for a future version would be a mana shield state which makes it possible to create a shield state which absorbs damage at cost of SP. So the enemy has to drain your SP to 0 first before he can attack your HP. Together with the SP regeneration and SP damage stuff it would allow some interesting Combos in battle.

RE: KStates XP - Steel Beast 6Beets - 02-08-2016

I tested the script. The Regen/SP regen damage pop and HP/SP stealing weapons work as intended. Yet I can't seem to get the leech/ SP leech to do what they're supposed to do. I got the skills and state on the script but I see no change to either the leech and/or leeched's HP and SP.

As for new skills for future releases, I already mentioned skills that directly damaged SP. I also think that Melana's SP shield idea could be neat addition. What about a state that will instantly kill the battler if their SP reaches 0?

RE: KStates XP - kyonides - 02-08-2016

Just out of curiosity, are you sure the leeches don't work? Or do you still notice changes in HP or SP that do not pop up? After reviewing my script I guess that leeches might not been configured to pop up as one would have expected. Perhaps this is the only thing missing, I hope so...

Edit

Anyway I already modified the code to see if leeches now terrorize their victims as I initially expected.

Your Nasty Neighbor The BUMP!

A new version has arrived and it now includes a Life Shield, it's not a mana shield but an upgradable Life Shield. Obviously the shield will only work if the target was inflicted by the right state. Otherwise it would sit somewhere else unnoticed by all battlers. Once all its hitpoints are spent, the shield disappears just because. Later on I also implemented (hopefully) the Mana Shield, the one that consumes SP instead of letting the attacker inflict physical damage unless there is no more SP left.

I tested the latest version and:

RE: KStates XP - kyonides - 02-09-2016

Well, I thanked Steel for his previous report and a few minutes later I posted version 1.3.1 but...

BUMPING DOWN THE STREET!

Blood Shield Version (1.4.0) is now available!

RE: KStates XP - Steel Beast 6Beets - 02-10-2016

I tested the newest version and I found some peculiarities:

- The blood shield also acts like Regen and will heal the player every turn.
- A healing spell will heal the HP Shield and Blood Shield and not the player. To elaborate: when a healing spell is used on a played protected by the Life/Blood Shield, the shields will have their HP replenished while the player' HP remains the same.
- The SP leech only hurts the leeched's SP but it doesn't recover the Leech's SP.

RE: KStates XP - kyonides - 02-10-2016

Eh, nope, it doesn't heal it, it shows you how many hitpoints are left before it disappears and you get normal damage. There is no separate color for any shield.

OK, I'll check the shields to make sure they don't get in the way of healing spells. (Or should I also keep its current behavior as a feature? Mmm, hard to say...)

Does it mean the HP leech seed hurts the victim and restores the leech? Or it's the same as the SP leech feature?

RE: KStates XP - Ahzoh - 02-10-2016

I like this hp/sp leech script. I think I will also use this for my game, though how it will fit into my game is another question.
