This is the part of the desert above where the Basatrisk nest. I'm still working on it.

Since some tiles are still missingit's obvious that it's a wip =)
Personally, I like it but I have one thing to complain about: the trees. This is supposed to be a desert, right? And even if it's more a savanna type of thing, I belive there are way to many. Trees don't grow well in these places, especially not those you've chosen which tend to not grow there at all.
In very hot and dry places, only plants that can store water and don't need much of it can survive. A Leaftree would have no chance.

some way or another, i always have to explain my maps :) it's a desert area that my green mages are working to terraform, but monsters keep pushing back, and theyre winning. it's part of a quest to find out what happened to the last group of green mages that went there and didn't return. it eventually terraforms, but i havent decided how and when yet. that quest was never part of my original plans, so i have to work it in some way or another.

See, now it makes sense *laugh*
You need to explain these things sometimes since you're the only one who knows the situation on a map you made. You can't expect other poeple to judge correctly if get only half of the information.
If there's something unique that you can't guess just by looking you'll have to give some basic infos.

ah yes, a map is never just a map. sometimes it is a fruited cake.

Oh well done, now I'm hungry. >.<

Pretty maps, though they could do with more detail in general imho. Keep it up!

This is still really early development, but I've got an XP World Map in the works...

I plan on having alot of features for this map
  • Many varying terrains (mountains, grasses, dirts, bodies of water, etc...)
  • Many varying locations (towns, cities, dealerships, caves, dungeons, etc...)
  • Drivable vehicles (car, helicopter, boats, ships, etc...)
  • A rail road / ferry boat system
  • Area based weather forecast and enemy encounters
It'll all come with time, its what I plan on spending most of January doing.
